Pilates:
Our unique approach breaks your program
into 4 stages, each with its
own challenges and targets. As
you progress, your program reflects
the gains made and we review
all goals to ensure you have
new targets. Our colour coded
system allows us to easily ascertain
each clients’ current status
and maintain the appropriate
supervision and intervention.
All Pilates programs are individually
designed and constantly supervised
in groups of 5 max.
Physiotherapy:
At Pondera, our Physiotherapists use
a combination of manual therapy & exercise
programming to enhance joint movement
and retrain muscle patterns to maintain
permanent improvement. One hour initial
appointments allow us adequate time to
take a thorough history, assess your
physical parameters, diagnose the source
of your pain or problem and form a suitable
treatment plan.
All Physiotherapy sessions
are one on one, no running from patient
to patient or leaving you wondering what
to do next.
Remedial Massage:
Working closely with all other staff,
our Remedial Massage Therapists provide
an integral part of any physical rehabilitation
program. With an exceptional blend of
techniques and high level training, you
will experience a clinical massage treatment
to compliment your programs and help
you maintain the positive changes you
are making to your body.
Strength and Fitness Training:
At Pondera, our Exercise Physiology staff
provide services in fitness assessment,
retraining and strength & conditioning
to further enhance the gains made from
physiotherapy. They form an integral part
of the rehabilitation team, supervising
the programs set by our Physiotherapists
and providing crucial feedback to both
clients and Physio staff. In mid to late
stages of the rehabilitation plan, they
will take a dominant role allowing progression
of all aspects of a total rehabilitation
protocol. |
