TV add breaks

Hiya, since I have been wearing a pedometer I realise just how much I need to get off my butt and start moving more!! I have started getting up in each add break of my favourite tv shows and marching on the spot (I tried walking around the lounge room, but I got dizzy! LOL) It is fun when you get into it and I was adding 200-220 steps during each add break!! It really works up a sweat when you get those legs pumping and you can feel it happening in your calves!! I find it is an easy way to add some exercise into my day instead of just sitting and watching tv all the time!!

Just wanted to share that with you all!!

good idea ally :) even walking to the letterbox to check the mail would help too! im always out checking for junk mail cos i love it haha.

i used to do sit ups during ads but got lazy! lol

Thats great Ally, I also find wearing the pedometer all day really is a great reminder of the nedd to keep moving to clock up those 10,000 steps, its not always easy, good on you 8)

wow that's a great idea Ally, well done!

I sometimes do sit ups in front of the TV during the ads.. its better than watching the bloody things!

I can't do sit ups yet! But I will get there!! LOL.

Kate....unfortunately we don't get junk mail where we live!!! But it is a great idea to do that!
