Oh its been absolutely shocking here yesterday and today. Yesterday was 41 degrees (it was 32 degrees at midnight last night  ) and today is about the same. I reckon I've worked up a sweat just standing inside!!

Very hard to get motivated to exercise that's for sure, being so hot. Kudos to your Jewles for going to the gym!!

I didnt end up going out on the boat, it was over 40 degrees and i decided it was too hot for me so i spent the day with some other friends in the pool and having a bbq. It was much more fun than roasting on a boat, plus playing volleyball in the pool was awesome excercise :)
Thanks for all the nice thoughts!

It is still 33 degrees here and the humidity is getting worse without the buildup of a storm in site :(

To add to that, the fan in my room has stopped working - It is either an overheated motor (keeping my fingers crossed on that) or the motor has burnt out (don't want that!!)

We are in for one of those really really hot nights where you can't get to sleep

Jewels I have a black labrador and she has really felt the heat today. I have been periodically hosing her off and then letting her lie inside under the ceiling fan in the dining room to cool the poor bugga off.

I want some horrible heat...horrible heat....here I am, come and get me!!!!

It's like winter in Melbourne today. Seriously I wore my thermal shirt to go shopping.

Good plan Jewles not going on the boat that would have been a scorcher.
