"Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there
will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending,
ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the
journey. But this, far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory
of the climb."

- Sir Winston Churchill, "from the essay 'Painting as a Pastime',
published at the end of Thoughts and Adventures."

Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

Some great stuff here!

What I like to do is read a magazine on the treadmill or bike and then I actually look forward to it. I sit there and peddle away and catch up on all the goss and fashion.

I'm also DESPERATE for a pair of knee length caramel coloured boots which I can never find a pair to fit my chunky calves so thinking of them gets me a little motivated.

LOVE the idea of music. I always listen to music when I work out but it is true - you do need up tempo beats. My favourite is a tune called "Just keep walking" (isn't that fiitng?) by Par-T-One. It's a dance remix of the song of the same name by INXS. I really recommend downloading it.

It truly is really hard to get into but I guess I just need to keep thinking of the benefits!

Went for a 45 minute walk witht he dog today and I feel great.

Hot damn! You've all motivated me to go do some Tae Bo.

Music for walking/jogging. Hehe the heavier the better. My choice is Judas Priest gets me pumped....woohoo. Anything with fast nasty guitars.

I was looking at old photos last night, that I haven't wanted to look at for a long time. I finally got the courage to look becuase am motivated to look as good as I used to. I can't believe how small I used to be!!! I've decided to keep a photo on my desk at work for motivation.
