I had a great day's exercise today! I'm on annual leave so I've got lots of time to play.
I briskly walked to and from Albert Park Lake, which totalled about 30 minutes. And for the first time in ages I managed to run all the way around the lake!
That's nearly 5km! I ran slowly (it took me about 45 minutes) but you have no idea how happy I am!
Then I had to go to the shops later, so that was a 40 minute round trip walk on top of all that. I wore my FitFlops, so it worked my leg muscles nicely.
The scary thing is that after entering all of this into CalorieKing.com.au it turns out I'd burned off half of my recommended calorie intake for the day! So I'm going to have a couple of glasses of wine to compensate. I don't want to harm my metabolism by consuming too few kilojoules after all.
