Well, I INTENDED to go for a ride around the local track and roads.
But I crashed my bike. I got all of 20 meters befrore losing control on a hill and crashing into the gutter
I've skun my elbow really badly and narrowly avoided getting a stick in the eye - it embedded just below my eye, thanks to my sunglasses which are now broken. I have a bruse on my thigh too. Luckily for me, no broken bones, but my nose is really sore as I face-planted into the dirt.
The bike has had the handlebars twisted around and the gears have jumped off. One pedal has had the grip ripped off it on the gutter.
I don't think I'll be riding to work tomorrow, and I don't think I'll be doing any exercise today as I'm still in a bit of shock. Luckily my neighbors were home and helped me clean my arm which I couldn't do in the shower.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!
