So the knee is still in bad shape Ali?
Maybe rest it for the next 4-5 days and do other exercises that won't hurt it?
Some suggestions are:
Upper body weights
Push ups and lots of ab work (I can give you heaps of ab exercises if you want)
Light walking if it doesn't hurt
Swimming (this would be IDEAL)
So if you make swimming your cardio and weights/abs etc your toning exercises i'm sure you'll be fine. It will help you to lose weight and tone up while allowing your knee to recover and repair.
Saying goodbye to calorie counting AND scales for a while.
