If you slept in, I'd say your body probably needed the rejuvination from your sleep. Take that day off from the gym, your back will thank you for it tomorrow.

Your body needs recovery time so don't be upset about missing Gym today. Go tomorrow and hopefully your body will be a little less sore, you need to get into a routine but don't overdo it at first as you will only give up. :)

today is the first day I have been to the gym before work and since I last posted I went. So, will be interesting to see how I go for the rest of the day. I start work at 2pm, finish at 930pm. I've never gone before work because I always thought I'd be too tired ect, but decided to give it a shot.

So, I did 15 minutes on the treadmill (up from 10mins)
10 minutes on the bike
5 minutes on the crosstrainer from hell.
1 set of weights, usually do more but it was crowded and couldn't get to the other machines.

Next time I go to the Gym will be Monday. Have decided to post in this thread each time I go as a record of sorts and to see my progress.

Well I never went on monday, I seem to have aquired a cold of some sorts which is now gone almost but my ears feel funny and I get dizzy

So I had Tuesday off as well and today have done 10 minutes on treadmill, 20 minutes on bike, 5 minutes on cross trainer and some of the weight machines.

Also, am getting some new gym clothes, larger sizes found at http://www.ezibuy.com.au under "sara" if anyone is looking for some. No luck in my local shops. All the gym clothes were for skinny people. I've only got one pair of gym trousers and they are pretty much winter stuff. Been wearing my casual tee's as well but that means they wear out quicker cause they are always in the wash.

Hi Funnybone,

There are a lot of colds going around at the moment and I hope I stay lucky and don't get one.

That's a good start, but take it slowly I would hate for you to get yourself into alsorts of positions on the machines because you have a dizzy spell.

7th December - finally dragged my sorry arse back to the gym. But am doing the classes instead. The other stuff is too boring and lonely.

So, 7th December, 1 hr water aerobics and a few laps of the pool

9th December, 1 hour water aerobics and a few laps of the pool.

Watch this space and see that ticker move

I've been going 2 to 3 times a week. This week I haven't been...I hate swimming at a certain time of the month, which actually only occurs a few times a year

Probably go back tomorrow, saturday, (which means I'll have been once this week) or start again on Monday.
