Weights at the gym...
Didn't feel too good doing them today. I struggled with my usual weight and in some cases had to drop down to a lighter weight. I'm not sure why, because I did some light weight training over the weekend and I've been doing these same weights at the gym consistently for three weeks... you'd think I would be getting stronger instead of weaker!
I feel completely exhausted now, for no real reason... I've eaten sufficient, had enough sleep and didn't do an excessive amount of exercise... must just be one of those days.
Sorry for the rant.

You might recall I had something similar happen to me but it was during cardio exercise not with the weights. I think sometimes the bod just wants to be a slacker!! Poor little muscles I do put them through a lot.

Yes, I remember Kim. Was that only for the one session?
Well done for at least doing something FatGarfield. The past few days I've been too busy and done absolutely nothing at all. At least you squeezed a little something in there :D

Garfield, it seemed like it but then I didn't attempt the same intensity after that for a week or so. I think it was due to doing high intensity (hr =90%+) 4 times a week and not really realising what I was putting the bod through until it had had enough! Anyway I have built back up again but am not going to the level I was before and I tend to vary the intensity now. If I want a reasonable 'burn' then I do intervals on the cross trainer and mix up the workouts using different machines each day.

Thank you Garfield...

Hi Garfield,
Thank you for your nice words.

Let's keep going with our healthy eating and exercise training...
Ha... I am trying to remind myself... I am about to have lunch with a lot of green beans... Green beans sound boring but when I warm them up, they are quite nice, much better than eating take-away and then getting dizzy-spells... I get food poisoning easily and I feel fainty if the food is too fatty...

So happy that there are people like you in the website...
Cheers...FatGarfield...
