After a two weelk break from my normal exercise, a weight gain and indigestion from the wrong foods; I back to it...!!

Today Tues 9th March
Swimming: Slow 20 laps
Non-stop, endurance pretty good.'
Did sit ups and kicking exercises in pool afterwards

Next exercise plan: Tomorrow Wed 10th March
Water aerobics....

Did water aerobics. moderate instensity
50 mins
Feel good!

Booked in for gym assessment next Monday
Considering fitball on a thurs night....

Idea for ongoing exercise
mon nights - water aerobics
tues nights - swim & weights
Wed morns - water aerobics
thurs nights - fitball or swim & weights
fridays - day off
sat/sun - big walk & gym visit

Thursday March 11th
26 laps of pool
20mins swimming

Saturday March 13th
60 mins walking

Stuck to calories all week, drank lots of water and did 4 sessions of exercise, most ever...
SO tomorrow when I weigh in I SHOULD have a loss!

Plan - Thurs night swim
Plus one visit on weekend

Start gym (weights program) next Monday
Next week - lots of go-go-go house cleaning aswell....

I love swimming too! How fantastic is it. I always feel so good after a swim as well.

LOVE swimming... the peace and quiet. All on my own. I find it quite meditative also as I only focus on my strokes, breath and the number lap I am on.

Wrapped up last week with only 2 sessions in pool as had mega PMT which only finished today.
Still lost weight even with 2 sessions instead of 3-4 so thats encouraging.

This week so far
Missed last nights water aerobics due to PMT pain but
Tonight, Tues Mar 23
14 laps of pool
plus usual kicking, stretches & crunches in water

Tomorrow - wed
Gym session planned
Weights & cardio (bike perhaps? my first proper gym cardio session....)

Thurs - night
swim & gym

see how we go, would like a bigger loss this weekend.... who knows?!

Today Wed Mar 24
Was shown my gym program.... ARGH .... I HATE it! Why did I think I would enjoy it?? I feel so self conscious there...
I am sure I will learn to like surely? I plan to get the sessions done, with my ipod (and if i could dark glasses!!) twice a week and get outa there!!
Thank god I am already loving swimming and water aerobics otherwise I think I would crash and burn.

As for the cardio work out part... I did only 15 boring minutes on the bike (sore bits :oops: ) and then 5 mins on the rower ( :roll: argh....) This land based stuff makes me just feel like a lard arse. People can see in and I can SEE my arse in the mirrors...!!

So motivation: LOW.....
All I can say is YES, TICK I have done two measly cardio sessions this week, so one or two more and I should record a loss this week...
Week by week, little by little...patience!!

Tomorrow - plan to do my gym program and then get into the pool for some laps if I can be fagged,,,,

Need to remember I am at DAY 2 of cycle so need to go easy on myself!

Did so so last week in the exercise area but have not been to the gym at all!

Thurs Mar 25
Swam 3 sets of 8 non-stop laps = 24 laps
No gym like I thought I would (slipped my mind! :shock: )

Nothing else all weekend - too hungover from a hens night!
Still recorded a loss of 800g...

This week
Mon Mar 30
Water aerobics... worked very hard
Made a new friend and have vowed to meet on a Friday night in gym (argh) for moral support.

This week's plan... a little tricky as school hoildays.
Will do Thursday night
Then cannot do Fri, Sat or Sun , so will try a swim visit on monday
Perhaps a big walk on Friday

Eating chocolate time, so will need to try hard to boost burn off!!

ANother gain after the end of a stressful week....

Sunday April 3
Weight: 98.9
This week: 800g gain
Total loss 4.9
Next goa l(97kg): 1.9 kg

Hmmmmm.... it is the end of a difficult week for me.
Eating poorly and only excersizing once as well as my emotional turmoil has resulted in a gain instead of a loss.... :cry:
I am not as upset as the last gain I had, but this does make me realise what a tough journey this is...
Only at almost 5kg out of 38kg lost and already had 4 or 5 give up challenges along the way.
I know I can get back into the groove, but I feel it will be a push to get back to the pool and put the chocolate away.

This week's exercise:

Trying to make up for poor excercise last week, made an OK attempt...

Sunday - 10 laps of pool (interrupted alot by DS6 who was supposed to be swimming with DH)

Thursday - 20 laps of pool - feeling very tired so stopped there

Friday - went to the gym :shock:
So didnt want to go, but made myself and was supposed to meet new gym buddies who said they go every friday night and guess what?? THEY WERENT THERE!!
I didnt take my iPod and I really dont love the gym at all!!
Did no weights at all 8) but
20min walking
20min bike riding
5 mins rower (F%*K that :roll: )

Plans for next week
Maybe a 30min walk or so with kiddies on weekend or swim on Sunday

Mon - water aerobics
Wed - water aerobics
Thurs - swim...
Fri - maybe that gym place if my buddie promise to come

see how we go.... :wink:

Just keep swimming.... Just keep swimming

I left the family at home on a cold and rainy day yesterday (sun april 11) and I went to the pool
I knew it was do or die (well not quite!). I know now that I have to kick my determination up a notch.
I swam and swam and got to 4 sets of 8 (I normally do 3) - 32 Laps!!!. The first set was actually easy!
As I was swimming along I realised that I may have broken through a barrier and didnt know whether to laugh or cry...
I plan now to stay at 32 laps for a while until I feel I can get to 5 sets - 40 laps, which is a whole km!!
So perhaps 32 for a while, then 34, 36, 38 & 40...

Tonight Mon April 12
Water aerobics
Had to stop myself eating too much banana bread when I got home! It is freezing and I want warm comfort foods!

Tues plan - out swimming...
Wed - water aerobics
Thurs - swimming
fri off
sat off
sun - arvo swim
