30 mins slow walk to docs, to chemist, back home
Have strained a ligament in my left knee and need to take it easy. This is something I damaged years ago and every now and again it hurts when the weather gets cold but nothing to stop me doing any exercise. Wasn't sure how I had aggravated it to the degree that it now hurt this much. I think it was getting up and down from a chair whilst I was assembling my home gym! I did this over and over and it put a lot of pressure on my knee, then Sunday it got to rest and Monday jumped on the cross trainer. It felt fine whilst exercising but after just sitting there it got worse and worse. Walking to the docs this morning was agony. He has told me to take anti-inflammatory 3 times a day for 3-5 days and listen to my body carefully where any exercise (cardio) is concerned and stop leg weight training for the rest of the week. I will see how the drugs work and see how I feel tomorrow for a walk.
