WOOO HOOO - so I woke up early this morning to hit the gym prior to tomorrows mini goal target of 90.0kg. Im so pleased to report that i have [to some extent] smashed by first mini goal, weighing in at 89.4kg

So pleased that i am back into the 80's again - goodbye 90's.... FOREVER!!!

So after a total of 5 weeks, i have lost 8.6kgs... lots more to go but its a start. My next mini goal is 86kg and there's no time limit attached to that and my reward then is a full body massage. At 86kg i officially go from being classed as 'obese' to 'overweight'.

Have a great weekend... mine will be a cracker!!!

So while i reached my first mini goal last Friday - i came back home and weighed in Monday (notably after a big weekend and it being TTOM)..... and i had put on 2kg in 3 days..... god help me is that even possible.

Needless to say ive had the s*@#s all week but i have been keeping up my gym sessions. My eating has been out of control the past 4 days - sometimes it feels like if i dont see the decreasing numbers on the scales i lose motivation.

This shonky week has been a combination of things - TTOM, not being prepared with the groceries, not taking food to work and then eating something i shouldnt at 6pm (and alot of it), not seeing the numbers on the scales i want and then feeling down, stressed at work.

But ive recognised and acknowledged where ive gone wrong this week and now that my head is in the right place... here's to putting the hard work in before Mondays weigh in.

Now off to buy some plums (if the boss lets me).

Gymed it last night and the scales reflected 90.3kg and now that the monthly process is almost over, hopefully it continues to fall back into the 80's - where i want to be.

Bring on the weekend - and more gym time.

Friday 18th Feb 2011

Having an ok week so far, despite the celebrations (and associated eating junk) for Valentines Day and a Family Birthday, ive kept the eating crap to a minimum and didnt make myself sicck on the stuff. Ive learnt to have a taste and leave the rest on my plate. Finally!

Ive also been to the gym twice and have locked in to go another 3 times before Mondays official weigh in.

Last night, the gym scales said exactly 88.0kg - a total loss of 10kg in 7 weeks.

I hope to see it hit 87.something on Monday.

Monday 28th Feb 2011

Ate terribly this week... had thai, red rooster and larger than required portions but somehow still recorded a loss. Still training at the gym 4 - 5 times a week and walking the puppy.

Even brought my first set of digital bathroom scales yesterday to keep me on track. Oh and i officially weigh less than my fiance again... alleluia!

And... i have dropped down from 'obese' to 'overweight' in terms of my BMI .... THANKGOD.

Starting weight 1st Jan 2011 - 98.0kg
Current weight 28 Feb 2011 - 86.1kg
Loss from last week - 1.0 kilos
Total loss in 8 weeks - 11.9kg

Monday 7th March 2011

Current weight - 84.6kg

A loss of 1.5 kilos from last week... happy with that. Still gyming it 4-5 times per week despite my attitude to working out some days/nights. I always come home feeling 100% better and my mood lifted.

Measured my (size 10) wedding dress and this is my goal in cms (estimating the equivalent to be 60 - 65kg);

Bust - 89cms

Waist - 64cms

Hips - 94cms

My bust isnt a worry but i have about 17 more cms to lose off my waist and 13cms off my hips. Ive been measuring my 'bits' on the 12th day of every month so ill aim to record them here from now on... Heres the progress so far;

12 Jan 2011
B - 100.3cm
W - 88.9cm
H - 118.1cm

12 Feb 2011
B - 96cm
W - 81.5cm
H - 107cm

Ahhh some days i feel like ill never get there!

Wednesday 9th March 2011

Having a bad start to the week... my eating has turned into binge eating these past 2 days. I find i do really well during the day at work but the minute i get home i bee line straight to the fridge and cupboards. This is a snap shot of what i ate yesterday;

small fruit salad
6 inch subway (under 6g fat)
3 licorice allsorts
2 ham sandwiches
1 cabdury chocolate
handful of retro lollies
2 chicken kebabs
small garden salad
1 slice of white bread

Gee talk about carb and sugar overload. Anyway, ive decided to revert back to daily posts that include my food diary - at this stage it seems like the only way to keep myself accountable (and not end up smashing my scales every Monday at weigh in). I can also tell the difference in calorie intake on my non-gym days - its out of control.

Ok thats my rant... the binge eating stops now and my aim now is to record a loss on Monday. I intend to gym it up everyday until then.

Keep your mind in the game SB2B

Food Diary - Wed 9th March

handful grapes
1 orange
5 lollies
2 oven bake fish fillets
1 garden salad
2 litres of water

Exercise - 1 hour gym session (45 min cardio and 15 arm weights)

Summary - glad im back on track. The exercise makes all the difference to the way i feel, my attitude and my motivation. I dread going but once im finished, its the best feeling. I must remember that.

Looked up some old photos last night from 2006 - i would have weighed between 64kg and 70kg. I guess in one way its reassuring to know i can get back down there because ive been there before. Its just a matter of time and busting my arse at the gym. I can do that. I can do that for me

Food Diary - Thurs 10th March 2011

6 inch subway (under 6g fat)
1 pepsi max
5 mouthfuls of pad see ewi (thai dish)
small salad with pumpkin, lettuce, tomato, corn, carrot, mushroom
2 small slices of buttifly pork

Exercise - zero, fell asleep on the lounge.

Not happy at all about my failure to get to the gym. Did wake up at 6:30am today (Friday) and go. Managed 35 mins of interval training. I feel better for it but wish i had gone last night as well.

I dont have much confidence about recording a loss this week. We'll see what the weekend brings.
