Food diary - Sunday 13th March

1 small tin of spagetti
1/2 cyclone icypole
1 ham sandwich on white bread
handful of grapes
cup of soup

Exercise - 1 hour gym session (45min interval training and 15 min arm weights) 15 min casual walk with the dog.

Happy that my eating is back on track - i wont track my food intake next week unless it becomes out of control again.

Weigh in tomorrow .... until then!

Thursday 17th March 2011

So today, i had my first comment on my weight loss after losing 15.1kg (apart from my Mum and Fiancee who both know of my efforts).

It was from a client and he said to me "you look really well, very fit looking".

Coincidently, it was also my first day wearing some old size 12 work pants. Its nice to know the change isnt unrecognisable. :o

So for the first time, i havent recorded a loss this week. :(

Not too impressed about it - i just hope it has something to do with recording 1.5kg losses for the past 2 weeks in a row. Admittedly, i have been testing the boundaries to see how much i could eat while still recording a loss - i may very well have over stepped the mark. Its just crucial now, to get back on the band wagon and pull the reins in - get my arse into gear and get the scales moving on down again.

Aim for this week - gym it up 5 times and reduce the carbs. Get back into the fruit and veges.

Ahhh :?

Monday 28th March

Down another 1.4kg from last week -

current weight - 81.5kg

Had a binge eating session this past weekend in Sydney. It was a fun and relaxed weekend but now back to the working week (and the gym). Cant wait to get into the 70's again - so close yet so far.... it seems to be taking the longest time to get out of the low 80's.

Have a wedding to go to this weekend. Should be fun.

Still on track for my next mini goal of hitting 78kg by or around Easter. 4 weeks to go. Fingers crossed.

Thanks metalcharm, ive got to say that of all the members online, your journey is the most inspiring to me. I guess because i started at around the same weight as you and we have the same target goal. You have truly been taking this journey in your stride - youre almost there. Well done to you.

Sometimes i cant help but get frustrated by this whole journey some days. But then i remember the alternative and always choose this road im on.

I still cannot do up my wedding dress but then what did i expect. Its a size 10 and im still in the 80's with another 20kilos to lose. God help me.

*blush* thanks for the kind words!

I know it's frustrating but so long as you don't lose sight of the end prize then you'll get there in the end :D

Friday 22nd April 2011

So im still around - the site was down for a good while there. Good to see its back up and running again.

Current weight - 78.8kg

Finally cracked back into the 70's and just 800g off my next mini goal which will mark a total loss of 20kg this year.

So close... yet so far!

Ive really slowed down the rate of losing the weight this past month, but im still happy with the gradual and continued loss.

Monday 9th May 2011

For the past few weeks i have been maintaining;

78.1kg

Im happy with that given that ive been averaging only 2 gym sessions per week. The cold weather and i really are not friends.

Thursday 19th May 2011

I noticed i hadnt updated this in a while.

Current weight - 77.2kg

Have just taken on a new job that involves a lot of travelling and being away from home (and the gym). Have started exercising at the beach during my lunch breaks which helps but im sure the intensity is nothing like that demanded by the gym.

The scales are still moving down (much to my surprise some weeks) just at a slower rate. Im not the losing the 1kg - 1.5kg per week like i have been in the first 5 months. Still happy

Until next post - peace out
