I can find out - a neighbour bought one for his fiance who has a hole in her heart and has to carefully moniter her pulse rate. Now she can exercise safely and lose weight for the wedding.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

The brand was Polar, apparently you can get them from most sports shops. This particular one was bought from Hobart Sports Centre.

I love leslie sansome i have the thee mile dvd and when im to afraid to go outside and show my jelly belly i chuck it on and know that i am walking cause afterwoods my butt muscle hurt lol :lol:

Wow Jules, I must be so unfit I have just got her 1 & 2 Mile DVD's and I have only been doing the 1 mile.

How do you manage the 3 Mile. :shock:

Precisely what do these videos entail? I assume you must have to have a treadmill?

I don't get a sore bum from walking I get sore calves and thighs. maybe I'm walking wrong :shock:

They are just walking on the spot with some sidesteps, knee lifts and arm lifts with weight.

They sound pretty good! I only have a pilates video - I should look in to getting one of those walking ones

LOL no way i can only just get to the 2 mile bit where they show it on the screen . I have only completed the whole 3 miles once and i paid for it for days . My legs butt and hips were so sore . I find the knee raisers and the leg kicks are what gets me . I was born with dislocated hips but they are okay now but exercise makes them ache sometimes but i sure know that it works cause my muscles are hurting . Isnt it like the saying no pain ... no loss

I got mine from k mart but u can get them at taget or sanity stores i think . They are excellent especially if its raining or cold in winter and she is so chirpy she motivates u to go the distance

I love those little lines they have. My Pilates woman says "Keep going you're doing great!" with that cheesy voice and big smile. And the weird thing is I believe her!!!
