Yes, I think I will be doing some more rock hunting for our newly constructed patio.
Just to add here that I have not been working out on the machines for two days, simply because I have been doing more than enough out in the yards - but this morning I had a surprise ------ I weighed in at 78.5 kilos!!!!!
Maybe the weight loss was due to altering the type of workout? Who knows but I an NOT complaining

Cheers

Good for you Tas, sometimes changing what we are doing will move things.

1 Mile DVD this morning.

I'll be going for a walk around the botanical gardens after a picnic lunch with friends. My legs are still killing me after Thursday and Friday.

Did approximately 10,000 steps around the gardens both before and after lunch. Was a lovely picnic and the gardens were just beautiful!

35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

I have to work this afternoon and that usually involves a lot of walking.

1 Mile DVD again.

I feel as though I'm ready to do more so I was wondering what's better. I haven't been using the hand weights so would I be better to still do the 1 Mile using the weights or don't worry about using the hand weights and go straight onto the 2 Mile.

What does everyone think?

Fairie, in my opinion perhaps you should intesify what you are already doing and that is to use the weights as well.
Then when you can cope ok with that extend the length of time...

You're doing really well.

Mmmmm not sure there i havent used the hand weights yet (lol the legs are hard enough . I would try the two mile and see how you go there and then try the hand weights on one mile the next day for variation

I would use the weights with the 1 mile before progressing with the 2 mile. Once you are comfortable with that and feel you arent really gaining anything with the 1 mile I would go on to the 2 mile. If you dont have the weights, use cans (whatever is in the cupboard).

I've done the 1 mile, 2 mile and 3 mile and i think the biggest difference is from the 1 mile to the 2 mile. Once you have mastered the 2 mile, the 3 mile is just longer (well thats how I feel anyway)

Thanks everyone, I think I'll try the 1 Mile with weights and see how that feels. :D
