1 hour of walking around the shops

I think I'll go for a walk around the waterworks today.

Might be a change of plans, just got a call from somebody asking if I'd be willing to be a fill in for a badminton team :? I play every week, but we don't actually play, we just hit the shuttle around, I don't know the rules.

Well, I went, I played 3 games (the 4th was forefeited)

Game 1 - lasted about 5 minutes, mixed doubles. Opposing bloke was so quick by the time my brain had registered the shuttlecock was moving towards me it had hit the ground already :?

Games 2 and 3 - womens doubles, much more evenly matched and so they each lasted around 30 mins. I showed my stuff was running around like a mad woman scoring points and getting the sweat running! Fantastic stuff! Close games and we won both games!!!! Yay. Had a great time, signed up for fill in's for the future.

To add to the bonus, their court was better with more shock absorbtion and so my ankle didn't get sore AND the charges are lower so I've found a new badminton spot. :D
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
