What a slacker I am, I had the whole weekend off!! Not often I have one day never mind two. Was worried my legs wouldn't work for my run today.

However...

30 mins jogging on treadmill
15 mins walking
15 mins stretching

That's not good. You shouldn't be getting pain. Be careful hun and don't push yourself to hard.

Kim you are such a trooper. Having a weekend off after all the exercise you do during the week is not slack. Hope your run went well and your legs didn't give out on you

i found that all the positions required your spine against the floor but your neck raised. i felt uncomfortable the whole time and it was making my eyes water and making me nauseous. if i do that one again i will keep my head on the floor me thinks!

Sounds like a plan, you shouldn't have been experiencing those reactions. Happy exercising :D

10 mins pilates (struggled- gives me really bad neck pains)

I used to find that I got neck pain from pilates but after a while, once I worked out how to use my core to hold my head up instead of my neck, I didn't get pain in my neck at all. It's really hard at first but the stronger your core gets the easier the whole thing is. But it took me AGES to get there (but I'm not as motivated as you are Kate). I think as long as your entire back is flat on the floor that's when you know your core is supporting you. Keeping your head on the floor is a really good idea so that you don't cause any serious damage. [/quote]
