It's raining quite constantly at the moment, but is due to clear this arvo. If it does I will go for a walk then. If not, I'll do some strength exercises and maybe some skipping in the carport.

30 (3 reps of 10 each) situps, leg lifts (each side), pushups, squats. went for a walk around the waterworks. This now takes me to 10000 steps today.

The bloke and I were planning on going to the movies tonight (we don't do that very often, and it was going to be good to have a night out together). But I got a call from a team from the badminton centre needing a fill in. I said yes cause the bloke and I won't be able to go for a few weeks as he will be away on the weekends.

But the bloke said he was really looking forward to the movies and having a night with me, so now I feel bad :( . I asked him to come so I can talk to him while I'm not playing, but he would prefer to play with his car than "sit around doing nothing all night". He said he'd come anyway, but I feel bad for spoiling his evening and then not letting him play cars. I'll just take a book and read when I'm not playing and tell him he can play cars again tonight.

Don't feel too bad, the movies will always be there in all the tomorrows, you actually did a wonderful thing to fill in for the team, now they won't have to forfeit and lose the match.

played 4 games of doubles last night. The bloke did end up coming along and it was a good evening. Badminton always cheers me up and makes me feel happy. In between games the bloke and I chatted.

They sure did. Absolutely buggered. They were at the beach for about 4 hours in Busselton. My son got a slight sting from the stingers there. They were swimming where the net was tho and the little buggers still get in. They didn't get out of bed this morning until after 8.30! It was lovely and peaceful while I had breakfast this morning.

Glad they were swimming in Busselton and not the beaches up around Perth. After that guy got his elbow bitten by a 3.5 metre white pointer the other day, the shark spotter plane said there was a shark over 5 metres long hanging around the nothern beaches and was last seen heading for our southern beaches
My son loves to go swimming at cottesloe beach all the time. Infact he was there just yesterday.
