I came on here to say I am craving CHIPS! and then i saw the word cherry ripe, now i am craving that!!!!!!!

Mmmmm salt and vinegar chips or lollies or anything....i am so hungry.

Prolly cos i had dinner at like 6:15pm (compared to 8pm ish) and then did a huge workout at about 9pm.

what should i snack on before bed...anything?

I'm a bit late to answer this, since I'm sure you would have gone to bed since posting last night! I find if I'm absolutely starving before bed a peanut-butter sandwich is the best fix. While it's not the lowest calorie or lowest fat snack you could have I find the combination of carbs and protein makes me sleep better. They also say a banana and a glass of milk is a good bed-time snack for the same reasons.

If i'm hungry before bed, I have a cup of tea and that usually does the trick. If not, I have lately been going for raw veggies as they're filling as well as low fat, carb and cals.
Saying goodbye to calorie counting AND scales for a while.

Just enjoying the new and improved healthy me and embracing my new lifestyle!

i love a cup of tea before bed :) or a glass of skim milk with 1 teaspoon of milo or nesquik

lols they use to be my favourites too... when I was in England you couldnt get them but my mum *gawd bless her :wink: use to send them over... similarly BBQ shapes... you could get them at Sainsburys for a year or so in the late 1990s but mustnt have been a huge seller cos they disappeared.

when harvey nicks opened in edinburgh, i was in heaven because they stocked cherry ripes. saved friends sending them for my birthday. hmmm. and i wonder how i got to be overweight? :lol:

I was craving chocolate... so I ate a bit of 85% Lindt chocolate... now I don't crave any because I have this bitter taste of cocoa in my mouth! :P

lols glad I never discovered the cherry ripes over there... but it didnt matter anyway... flakes... crunchies... anything! :wink:
