You have the mind frame if you dont want it you wont have it, and if you do get an entree size :mrgreen: they say there is nothing wrong with treating ourselves every now and then and if you are as focussed as you are, one meal wont matter! And think of all the ways you can work it off afterwards :wink:

I made a low fat version of carbonara out of a WW recipe book, and it was really good! Pity I don't have those books anymore!

I have this WW recipe I found in my travels that works out at about 359 cals per serve. This might help! :)

SPAGHETTI CARBONARA serves 4
points value 5.5
Cals 359.

240g Dried spaghetti
1 brown onion, finely chopped
125g weight watchers bacon, thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, crushed
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup (125ml) light evaporated milk
2 tbs shredded parmesan
2tbs chopped parsley

1. Cook pasta in a large saucepan.
2. Lightly coat non stick fry pan. Add onion and bacon, cook for 5 mins. Add garlic and cook for another 1 - 2 mins
3. Add eggs, milk and parmesan. Simmer uncovered for 3-4 mins.
4 Add to drained pasta
SW 74kg
GW 55kg Achieved 31.1.08
CW 54.6kg
Body fat reduced from 38% to 20.2%

I am craving Carbonara right now, as i am typing this! But, i will be strong. Let us know if you recipe turns out nice. Could be a nice treat for those of us who are pasta lovers!

I make a carbonara sauce from 2 egg yolks, and skim milk, and some parmesan cheese.

doesnt add to much calories, and tastes good. just add the pasta and broccoli and onion. I dont add bacon, and dont miss it actually. and afterwards I feel light, not weighed down by cream and cheese and too much pasta.

had a lovely chicken carbonara for a works lunch on Friday, passed on the entre & dessert so alls good!

any pasta ... i love it. i crave for it all the time. it's my alternative for rice or any heavy meal. i super love pasta! i can live eating pasta alone! :P
