Arrrggg chocolate cravings! I used to get that really badly every night and it was horrible :(

Having a bath or finding something else to do is a great idea. Even going out for a walk, so that you're away from the chocolate.

I find the Jarrah Hot Chocolates really good, and usually reach for one of those instead of chocolate. I have recently tried the chai latte version which is quite yummy.

Also have a look in this topic.... Dolly wrote a comment regarding a hypnosis technique, which is really quite neat. I have to say that it has had some effect on me and I often think about it when I feel like eating chocolate :D (Yuck... imagine if chocolate were made out of dogs droppings or something like that! I certainly would not want to eat it then :o )

Thanks Kate and Sarah will go and get some this afternoon. Sarah is the Chai Latte version good on the calorie side of things as the program I am on I would have to count that as my optional indulgences,

Thanks guys!

Hi Ally. It's about 200 kJ per serve (that's about 50 calories I guess). All the different ones are basically the same too :)

When I'm craving chocoalte I just have either a bit of 85% cocoa choccie, or hot cocoa (unsweetened cocoa, some low fat milk predominantly boiling water)

15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

Jarrah hot choc

Postby Carmbutch » Sun Oct 15, 2006 9:54 pm

I have been reading that everyone is using the Jarrah hot chocolates to get over chocolate cravings. Do you drink them with water or milk, cause I've tried it with water and they taste horrible!!

Hi carm butch

i buy the jarrah chocolattes, and i put a dash of skim milk in mine. it makes it frothier. i find that if i dont have milk in it then it just tastes like hot water to me! you could also try an artificial sweetner tablet thing in it if you find its not sweet enough.

I also used a dash of skim milk or hi-lo milk in my Jarrah chocolatte extreme choc drink.
At the moment I'm just drinking international roast decaff or water.
