Thanksgiving

Postby ossabelli » Tue Nov 21, 2006 11:12 am

Thanksgiving is just three little days away, and I don't know how I'm going to handle it yet. All that turkey, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie.

I'm scared, lol!!

small portions!!! we dont have thanksgiving over here but it sounds a lot like the christmas day lunch we have with turkey and all the trimmings! just go easy on your portions and drink water. if you want a drink alternate between water and the drinkies!! its one day a year so enjoy!

stay focused Carrie, have some healthy alternatives on hand. i find planing ahead is the best key to success. :D

Dont forget moderation is the key, thanksgiving only comes around once a year but small portions is certainly the go..

you can do it ,stay strong 8)

Thanks for the support guys. I really think I can do it, it's just that my extended family (all my aunts and uncles and such) are always pushing the food in your face to eat.

Hopefully they'll pick up the hint.
