chocolate cake

Postby Mandie » Wed Mar 21, 2007 7:50 pm

okay. mum was on morning tea at work today, and she brought home the left overs.

theres now a chocolate cake in the fridge.

i went as far as taking out the cake, cutting a piece and holding it up to my mouth...

then my calf muscle twinged, as if to say "what ARE you doing? you don't need that! we're going running tonight!"

and i put the cake down, put it back in the fridge, and grabbed the container of raw vegies instead

as i sit here munching on some celery.. i wonder.. is it weird that my calves talk to me?

Woah that's great, Mandie!!! I think that's when it's most satisfying to refuse food - when you get SOOOO close to putting it in your mouth and instead of letting it happen you put the food down and grab a better choice.
Well done chick :D What an achievement!!

Well done Mandie. Your body will thank you for it in the long run - it just complains at you at the moment, bit like kids really.
