Mars Bar...

Postby dietcoke » Fri Apr 27, 2007 8:15 pm

I'm REALLY craving a Mars Bar. I've decided to wait until I have a little more lean muscle to be able to burn it off before I cave. If I give it a week or two I might just get over it 'cause other than that I've been really good lately. YES! That's what I'll do...wait for the muscles to grow.

Wish me luck!

Hehehe...thanks guys. You always keep me motivated enough to be good.

ACTUALLY I haven't really found anything to replace a Mars Bar but I have found something to replace lollies. If you're a hard lolly kinda gal/guy then "Watermellon Extra Drops" are AWESOME and if you like 'em chewy then "jolls" are pretty good. I know you can buy a whole heap of sugar-free lollies but I find it MUCH better to have little ones that you can carry in your bag...stop the craving before it gets too intense. Also you can buy both of those at most corner stores (so no wandering down the confectionary section of the supermarket).

Mars Lites are awesome, taste just like the real thing with so much less fat and kilojoules!!

I can eat maybe 2 extra drops or 2 jols before I get chronic stomach pains, it's terrible!!! Will never touch them again!!!!

Mars lites you say...I'll have to try one.

Oh really you have THAT much trouble with jolls. That's no good. I've heard that too much artificial sweetener can cause probs but have never experienced any probs with them myself (knock on wood). I'll keep it in mind though - thanks!

The thing is I'm fine with extra chewing gum (except the Sweet Mint flavour) unless I eat like 2 packets in a short space of time!! But the Jols and Extra Drops just do not agree with me :( :( :( Silly artificial sweetners!!!

Ok gotta be honest. I have 2 choc marshmallow biscuits today...oops...hehehe

Maybe I should've walked to the corner shop and gotten a Mars Bar but I think maybe the biscuits were a slightly better option. But I'm actually REALLY proud that I stopped at 2...usually I eat 3/4 of a packet and a 1/4 of another packet andfeel like death...hehehe

Oh well I'm only human...back to the tuna, salads and yoghurts for me.

I love to pull the marshmellow off the top and then eat the base last (I like to do that with Mars Bars as well). mars are my all time favourite choccie in the world - but they cannot be cold -- they have to be a bit gooey for me to eat them ....... I have just drooled all over my keyboard!!!!!
