I'm not too sure about the DVD's but I know quite a few places hold classes for about $10. You can usually go on a casual basis, so if you could get Mick to be Mr Mum with Heidi- i'm sure you would have a blast!

I went to all my classes at the Gym on my own, including the bellydancing, and you'd be suprised how comfortable you feel because everyone else is laughing at themselfs, so everyone is usually feeling just as silly as you do.
(Unless it's a body pump class- I felt SO uncomfortable in that class. It was full of muscle women who didn't smile! But even with that, I'm sure it's not the case everywhere)

Shake it girl! Xx

I loved going to Belly dancing classes. It is so much fun and gives you a great workout. And if you have a jelly belly it's in your favour!!! The more your fat wobbles the more sound from your belt......hahaha!!! I've lost weight since I did it last year so I wouldn't get as good a sound now! I went for about 6 months last year and it was so good and I really do miss it but the lady isn't teaching anymore. Tho I saw her down the street a few months ago and said she was considering some other options so there is hope yet!!! I don't know how well a DVD would go. I think in person is a much better idea because you can be told where you are going wrong. And Kate, think of it as a new way to meet people. I didn't go with anyone when I went. I only vaguely new of the people in the class but we used to have such a laugh. I would go home with sore cheeks.....and not butt cheeks!!! from laughing so much!
