After a particularly tough Pump session on Saturday, my muscles were STILL aching today.

I put on some nice music (Lupe Fiasco, if anyone knows who that is!) and just lay on the floor in the lounge and slowly stretched every muscle i could think of.

It felt SOOOO nice and was so relaxing! I would highly recommend just taking 5 minutes to put on a great relaxing track and just let your mind drift away as you focus on stretching and relaxing every body part... it's fantastic!

thanks mandie will keep that in mind, i always feel so relaxed after yoga :) sorta the same thing- listening to calming music whilst stretching and relaxing. good on u mandie

You are so funny Mandie. Yes stretching is relaxing but I don't know how you could have found it relaxing listening to Lupe Fiasco :shock: :shock: . My partner listens to all that hip hop music.

I love hip hop music... I would wanna get up and dance rather than lie down and stretch :lol:

Stretching sounds like a great idea though. Might give that a go! I had some sore muscles yesterday and last night I had a (very!) hot bubble bath. I lied in there for about 15 minutes, until I thought I might faint lol, and today they feel great :D

lol ACOTE.. I found it relaxing :P I like hip hop, but that's my relaxing music. I listen to drum n bass mostly to work out, that's REALLY fast so it's my go go go go time!

I love stretching! I devote about a half hour a day before bed, it helps me sleep much better.
