OK, so this wasn't the best week to start weighing in
. At least I now know where my weaknesses are. Does anybody have any tips for avoiding too much food/drinks at social occasions on weekends?
Last Week: 94.8kg
This Week: 95.3kg
Goal: 90kg by Christmas
Chin up......it's only 0.5kgs, you will lose that easily!
Food and drinks on the weekend......I keep busy. If I am bored, I eat and I eat a lot. I do anything to keep myself busy: wash walls, assignment work, yard work, read, journal, watch a DVD, go to the gym, window shopping and so forth. Yes, I know they are boring things but it keeps me away from food. I joined a photography class (run on the weekends) it keeps me away from food! Hope that helps! Just find something that works for you......I know you can do this! Oh, I go bike riding off road or take a packed pinic to Kings Park.
Social events .....I eat before I go and allow myself 200 calories at the event. I drink loads of water. I count this 200 calories into my daily intake.
I think the hardest thing is saying 'no' and people always try and push me to eat! I normallly tell them I have just eaten, so I will just grab something small!
