Bubbles weigh in

Postby Bubbles » Mon Nov 26, 2007 3:54 pm

I will be weighing in on Tuesday mornings. I will be weighing myself at the gym so it will be consistent, I will not be tempted to weigh myself in between (which is always misleading) and it will encourage me to go to the gym! Last time I weighed myself I weighed 63.8kg so that is my starting point. I want to be 60kg by Christmas.

On my way

Postby Bubbles » Tue Nov 27, 2007 6:52 am

I weighed myself this morning and was delighted to find that I had lost .4kg. I only joined this site yesterday but I have been behaving myself a little better for a bout a week so it not as dramatic as it appears but it is a good start and I am encouraged. This is the part where I would usually say, "hey, that was easy, I guess I can ease off a bit now". No, no, no! I must continue!

Well done, but please be aware that weight can change a lot from day to day and weighing in weekly or fortnightly will be more accurate than daily!

But, good start, and stay motivated to keep it up and see how you've done by NEXT Tuesday!

Thanks Mandie,
I know about the fluctuations. I don't even have scales at home for that reason. I will be weighing in on Tuesday mornings. It just happens that I joined this forum on a Monday and the last time I weighed myself was (about) last Tuesday, so I it looks dramatic, loosing .4 of a kg in a day but in fact it was really a week.

Not very good. I doubt if I will make it by Christmas. I lost motivation when I had a bit of a physical and emotional shut down one day. I just need to take it slow. So if I don't make it by Christmas that's okay. I should be able to loose a kilo by Christmas though, without pushing myself too hard.
