You are probably building lots of muscle Fiona - and that weighs more than fat.
BUT muscle is the only part of your body that consumes energy (fat, as we all know, just sort of LIES THERE! and flaps in the breeze, in my case), so if you build more muscle you need more calories to maintain your weight.
