new year, new... me? haha

starting weight 80.45kg (2/1/08) , goal weight 65kg by 9/3/08!

Best of luck on your journey!

Sometimes you will only lose 1/2kg a week even with good diet and loads of exercise, so don't get disheartened. To lose it and keep it lost it is a slower progress.

You will get there, we will all support and motivate you!
Saying goodbye to calorie counting AND scales for a while.

Just enjoying the new and improved healthy me and embracing my new lifestyle!

Hehe we're a similar weight. I was 77.7kg right before Christmas but I packed it on due to drinking heavily and eating crappy food right through til yesterday :( 79.7kg now.

:) I'll be secretly challenging you til the 9th of March:P

Good luck with your weight loss! It's quite a strict goal, but it's still achievable.

Best of luck! That's a pretty short amount of time to lose that much weight, but if you work really hard you should be able to get close! Aim high :)

Shoot for the moon, at least if you miss you land amongst the stars!

oh yikes, i just realised that i put my goal as to weigh 65kg by the 9th of March, HOWEVER, i think i got a bit carried away and got my 'deadlines' mixed up!

so we shall start again!

by the 9th of March i want to weigh 70kg, but my end goal is 65kg and i'm hoping to reach that by the first of May! i understand that those last few kilos are harder to shift.. grr.

thanks for all the support (and secret friendly rivalry =) ...

first weigh in!

well, time is up and this morning it was time for my weekly weigh in.

i now weigh 79.00 kg, which means i've lost 1.5kg. i'm actualy surpised i lost anything at all considering a) i didn't exercise every day and b) yesterday i managed to eat bread and pasta in the same day!

but atleast the ball is now rolling =) so my aim this week is to exercise atleast five times and to cut out processed carbs like bread and pasta, and concentrate on fruits and veg.
