Do you guys mind if I post here as well?
I weighed in this morning and my current weight is 88.9kgs
Last week I was 89.6, so a loss of 700grams this week. I am happy with that :D

Loss: 300g

Not very much, but that averages to half a kilo per week over the past three weeks. And my BMI is now officially 24, which I should consider a milestone I guess.

I'm honestly surprised I didn't lose more. I've barely been able to eat this week, owing to getting my wisdom teeth out on Monday. And I've been very careful to not eat high calorie foods (like thick shakes, ice cream, sundays, as tempting as cold sweet mush is when your jaw is swollen and bruised). By the same token I've been able to do *no* exercise (doctors orders :evil:), and the constant codeine means I've only had *one* movement this whole week. :shock: (Sorry, way TMI)

Im sorry you've had a bad week, look at it this week, next week, should get you a little more off the scales once your movements start to regulate ;)

A loss is a loss hun, think if that 300gms were heading the other way ?

I put on 200g this week :cry: but it's because I got my periods this morning so it's not a true weight :roll:
LW - 85.7kg
TW - 85.9kg
TOTAL LOSS - 7.1kg

Here's to hoping next weeks loss will make up for this week

Thanks opal for your encouragement! Yeah, I've been amazed how quickly the first 30% disappeared. But I'm sure the next 30% will be at least twice as hard and long, and the last 30% will be harder again. But I'm patient!

Good luck with your weightloss, and I hope you achieve your "dream" of touring Italy. You realise the only problem with Italy is the amazing FOOD. I once travelled through Tuscany and ended up joining a month long cooking course, and then when I went again a couple of years ago, I spent most of my time around Assisi and Perugia, there was a week long CHOCOLATE festival in Perugia. :shock: But in a way it was worth every calorie. Italy's beautiful, and the only thing I'm addicted to more than food. :)

I'm vegan so there shouldn't be as many temptations for me, having said that I've already scoped out several vegetarian restaurants in Italy. I've read so many books written by people who have quit their jobs and moved to Italy and I've watched My House in Umbria and A Month by the Lake about a hundred times. Everyone I know who has been says it's beautiful. I can't wait to go but I really want to be slim and fit before I go so I can make the most of it.

Do you speak Italian?

This week 49.8kg

A LOSS :shock: of 0.8kg :shock:

I've given up on weighing every week, that strategy was just not working for me. So, I'm jumping onto the scales daily now (well most days anyway lol).

But get this.....
Tuesday 51.2kg
Wednesday 50.9kg
Thursday 50.6kg
Friday 50.5kg
Saturday 50.1kg
Sunday 49.8kg

And this morning (Monday) still 49.8kg!!!! :D
