I know where you're coming from re the medication!

I had an embolism followed by surgery on my foot and every gram lost is a struggle!
Try a high protein regime and cut out the fruit a bit.

I find it makes me hungry straight after.
I keep a box of grilled chicken breast strips in the fridge and snack on that.

It's AMAZING how it fills you up and you stop wanting sweets etc.
Two other things that have worked for me - drink lots of water; and when you DO want a sweet snack try Dr Atkins Advantage bars - Chocolate Decadence, YUM!

They only have 2g of carbohydrates and taste yummy. They are available at most Woollies supermarkets (look around the vitamin area).
Every day I stay on my low carb routine I reward myself with a bar going to bed.

18kg down now, was 98.5 kg (size 18-20) and just about to break the 80kg mark - wearing size 12.
Lots of luck
