Well Ive gotten to where I am by trying to eat as normal as possible....by that i dont deny myself the things I like...but I cant go and binge like i used to.
The reason why i got big is because I binged every day!!
At the moment I am struggling but at least I know I can do it.
I try to get fruit and veg in my day and as much water as possible!!
If u want more info just let me know ok!! :D :D

I tried that...eating healthy, lots of water, exercising every day .I really wasnt noticing the difference. It has a lot to do with the medication on, it slows down my metabolism.
You are doing soo well, if you find you are struggling and want someone to talk to PM. I'm happy to listen and offer any advice I can. :) :)

I know where you're coming from re the medication! I had an embolism followed by surgery on my foot and every gram lost is a struggle!

Try a high protein regime and cut out the fruit a bit. I find it makes me hungry straight after.

I keep a box of grilled chicken breast strips in the fridge and snack on that. :P It's AMAZING how it fills you up and you stop wanting sweets etc.

Two other things that have worked for me - drink lots of water; and when you DO want a sweet snack try Dr Atkins Advantage bars - Chocolate Decadence, YUM! They only have 2g of carbohydrates and taste yummy. They are available at most Woollies supermarkets (look around the vitamin area).

Every day I stay on my low carb routine I reward myself with a bar going to bed. 18kg down now, was 98.5 kg (size 18-20) and just about to break the 80kg mark - wearing size 12. :D

Lots of luck

Hey! I will definitely PM you when im struggling!!
I agree wholeheartedly that you have to find what works for you! So what I'm doing may not work for you and vice versa.
I think you may have already tried this but I have read that between main meals you should have healthy snacks...this will act to boost your metabolism.
I know this works because my metabolism has boosted from doing this!
Thanks for the offer of support and I'll check in on u to see how ur going! :D :D

Well done, thats a great loss!

One tip that's worked for me. I used to eat HEAPS of fruit - because it's healthy right?! Well, I now understand that too much of a good thing isn't actually good! I stick to only 2 pieces of fruit a day (which is hard for me cos I love it!!) and if I want to snack on something - where I'd normally have an apple, I now have carrot / celery / cucumber sticks, cherry tomatoes, etc.

Also, the water works a treat....although as the weather gets colder I need to practice what I preach....takes a swig of water... :P

Make sure you're getting as much exercise in as you can too!

Keep up the great work - you'll reach goal in no time!

xoxoxo
