Just thought i would add that my weekly weigh in is going to be stuffed now (for this week anyway) as my pair of scales went to diet Heaven this morning so I rushed out and purchased some new ones but they read 1 kg. higher than my old ones. I know they read higher because I borrowed my sisters this morning and they said the same as my old ones  .

Maybe you could use your sisters scales and give her the new set ;)

I've been down the route before GI, the one's that stuffed up were actually my sisters in the first place. We swapped a few months back when hers were more suitable to me. As a lightweight she doesn't hop on them as often as I so she didn't mind. Funnily enough the ones that were originally mine and are now hers are accurate for me. Both sets had the same weight limit on them (150kg) but my newbies have a 182kg. limit.
I might have to have a word in her ear on Saturday night :) .

I was just reading your weekly weigh ins and you are going fantastic. What plan are you doing cause it certainly seems to be working. Isnt it funny how we get used to the same scales and then fall apart when they do. Keep up the great work. :D :D

Hi Curvygirl, no program I'm just doing my own thing, just counting the calories and fat content. No food between meals unless it's fruit and a bit of exercise here and there.
I was devastated when the scales went bung, so I brought new ones and then swapped them with my sister (who had my old ones), so now I have the old ones back and she has my new ones. that made me feel a little better  .
Thanks for your kind words and encouragement.

No change in weight this week :( .
I guess it could be worse and I could have gained, to be honest after last Saturday night I'm surprised I didn't put on a little.
We had my birthday tea last Saturday night and I had a few things I shouldn't have, by the next morning I was weighing in at almost a kilo. heavier than the morning before. I have shed that over the week and am back to where I was on the last weigh in. Add to that I may be retaining a bit of water/fluid at the moment and the scales going bung and swapping drama. So all in all not to bad I guess.

Here's to a loss next week.
Take care all, Sue.

Sue its dissapointing when you dont see a loss on the scales. :( You have come so far you should remember what you have acheived. I am sure that even if you dont see a loss on the scales your clothes must be feeling looser. I am weighing in at Jenny Craig each week and I hate that because I cant seem to work out the difference between my scales and theirs so I dont actually know if I have lost any until I go in. I know its bad to weigh in everyday but sometimes it helps keep me going.
Have a great weekend. Keep up the good work

Don't be disheartened as you said it could have been worse !

How many calories are you consuming ? Are you sure you are eating enough ? I've had a look at your food diary and noticed how much you were eating. I wouldn't want you plateauing after your efforts !

Thanks ladies, it is disappointing but I know I would be more disappointed if I had put on.

GI, I know I haven't been eating a lot but I have never felt hungry. If I do I grab some fruit.

I'm just putting it down to the change of scales, a bit of a pig out on Saturday (which caused me to gain temporarily but which has now been lost again) and the hormonal/fluid thing going on this week).
I'll see what happens next week and re adjust if need be.
