I had an absolutly awful week-end. I ate Red Rooster, how bad am I??? I also had a small bowl of ice cream. I don't know why I set myself up for failure. Maybe this week will be better.

Have a lovely holiday Lexie. Enjoy your time off and don't stress out too much over the food. Choose healthy if you can but it doesn't always work out that way when your on holiday. If not make sure you enjoy it!

See you when you get back. :D

I'm finally back

Postby Lexie » Mon Jul 03, 2006 1:06 pm

Hey guys,

hope everyone is well. I haven't been on in awhile as when I returned from holidays I found out my Nanna had passed away. So for the past month I have been doing lots of family stuff and been really busy. My Nanna and I were extreemly close, she only lived two streets down from me. So this is why its been so hard and I haven't been on. Also, my computers hard drive has crashed for some reason so its hindered my chance to get on here. But I'm back.

~ On the weight loss side of things, I did pritty well on my holiday, we walked everywhere so it was good. And I had small protions of whatever we ate, which wasn't ever really bad.

Monday 3rd July

76 kg

= - 2 kg

Thanks everyone :)

Hi, and well done Lexie,

It's difficult to stay on track with anything, let alone weight loss when you have a bereavement, but you seem to have coped well.

What I do with the chocolate and ice-cream etc is I have Saturday night off. I know that I'm not allowed anything extra on any other day, and it works.

One night usually doesn't have any effect on me. I don't go crazy, but I allow myself anything I want on that night. I usually take my wife to the local leagues club, so maybe you should drop a hint if you have a partner :)

Our local club have an all you can eat buffet, including ice-cream, but my real weakness is apple crumble.

I also find that the best accuracy you get get is about a kilo. With hydration changes etc, it's not worth weighing any more accurately, and I find that I have daily variations of about 1.5kg anyway, because I drink a lot of fluids.

Thanks for your replies Dolly and Aldebaran. I think the one night off a week is a good idea, but knowing me I would probably go overboard. But still its an insentive to get through the week I think its a good idea to get your partner to take you out somewhere. I will try to hint to mine, but hes probably not going to pick up on it, lol :). Thanks again guys.
