Weigh in again...

Week 1- Starting weight: 100kg
Week 2: 99.8
Week 3: 100.3

I know where it went wrong. We had a company party at the ZOO yesterday, so we got some pocket money to get some stuff to eat. Apparently, ZOO's just don't serve healthy, low fat food. It's all fries, and other fat stuff. So I was forced to eat (and however, I did have the choice not to eat it, so I still blame myself).
Dinner with the company tasted good, but I think there was still a lot of fat in the meat that was served. I didn't eat too much, because I already thought it was moving this way when I saw the food. This morning on the scales it turns out that I was right. Damn fat...

Luckily I don't have any parties for a while....

Week 1- Starting weight: 100 kg
Week 2: 99.8 kg
Week 3: 100.3 kg
Week 4: 100.1 kg

As you can see above, I did lose weight, but hardly any. I lost .2kg, which makes me a bit depressed. I wanted to be in my 99's by now, which only differs 1kg, so it's not too darn bad, but it still hurts somehow. I know what went wrong. Got into some issues with a collegue... Mentioning the fact that I am an emotional eater... I'll stop talking now, and get back to the weight loss schemes. Still some cutting to do in my diet...

I'm not talking about this... I brought this on myself :(

Freddy do not lose heart!!! Think about it like this. You are making a change and that change is happening. Yes it may only be .2kg but we are talking about a life long change here. You could still eat total crap all the time. Your weight could keep piling on and you could do nothing about it. But you are doing something and it is coming off. You could fast diet, cut back on food, ditch everything you have enjoyed, but what could would it do? If you quick diet you will put it back on faster than you took it off. A slow change is a more permanent one. Be proud of the start you have made!!! At least you can see a difference begin. :D WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!

I'm feeling really good right now. I did eat a small bowl of ice cream a few minutes ago though. I'm not too worried about that though. This morning I weighed less than the previous weight, I'm not telling how much, it would ruin the surprise ;)

Though, I can actually feel my weight loss around my belly. It feels like my 'lower belly roll' is moving upwards and I'm getting more flat at the bottom. My wife is incredibly impressed by my calves and thighs. I am feeling really confident about my legs, however they hurt quite a bit due to my 4 day cycling routine (however it was even one way traffic each day).

I've been doing some weight lifting as well for the past one, maybe two weeks. Still trying to get a good routine in that. I've limited myself to just concentration curls for the past week and I think I feel my biceps growing a bit. I think I will keep going with this, and add some more exercises to my routine. I'm thinking triceps, shoulders and maybe a bit cheast. And I will keep doing the ab crunch routine, which probably helps in shaping my abs as well.

I'm actually feeling quite confident right now. I wouldn't have imagined I would feel like this when I started my weight loss journey. I've been going for nearly a month now, and I feel like my weight didn't drop from changing my eating patterns, but it dropped because of my cycling routine, which will even be improved in the upcoming weeks. Too be honest, I've been experimenting with coffee, tea, water, diet coke and you name the cold and warm drinks. Besides drinking enough water I can stick with coffee and diet coke, that's what I've found out.

Obviously not each body responds the same way to an exercise routine or drinking and eating routines. I feel like I'm about to find a perfect drinking and eating routine for mine. I'll have to adjust small bits and try some things out, but I think I'm not far off anymore :) The exercise routine takes more time, I'll have to adjust much more, to exercise many more muscles besides just my biceps. Otherwise I'll be ending up with huge upper arms and tiny shoulders and cheast ;)

Week 2: 99.8 kg
Week 3: 100.3 kg (+0.5 kg)
Week 4: 100.1 kg (-0.2 kg)
Week 5: 99.8 kg (-0.3 kg)
Week 6: 98.7 kg (-1.1 kg)

Thought I'd put the actual weight loss behind the weigh in as well. For me, it's very obvious that 100km of cycling each week would do some very good to my body. So I'm staying on that routine and will try to extend it a bit.

Right now it's like:
Monday - Mass transit (train, subway, bus etc).
Tuesday - Bike to work, mass transit home.
Wednesday - Mass transit to work, bike home.
Thursday - Bike to work, mass transit home.
Friday - Mass transit to work, bike home.

What it will be like after the upcoming week:
Monday - Bike to work, mass transit home.
Tuesday - Mass transit to work, bike home.
Wednesday - Bike to work, mass transit home.
Thursday - Mass transit to work, bike home.
Friday - A blast to end my week with... Bike to work, bike home.

Looks like I'm doing something right, another .6kg lost. Reason I didn't lose more than .6 is that we've been experimenting with baking some walnutbread yesterday. Tasts incredible, and does some other incredible things as well, since I weighed 97.0 yesterday morning.

Week 2: 99.8 kg
Week 3: 100.3 kg (+0.5)
Week 4: 100.1 kg (-0.2)
Week 5: 99.8 kg (-0.3)
Week 6: 98.7 kg (-1.1)
Week 7: 98.1 kg (-0.6)

So I'm not complaining. This week I lose nearly 1kg, and my weight is lower than it has been in years. Besides that, I know I am building up muscle mass by cycling to work. My wife is really enthousiastic about the interesting muscle packs that are forming on my legs. Meanwhile, my belly isn't hanging over my belt anymore, but it is just a bit higher now, trying to defy gravity. I can feel my ribs again on my cheast, I actually forgot there are actually bones below my fat

Week 2: 99.8 kg
Week 3: 100.3 kg (+0.5)
Week 4: 100.1 kg (-0.2)
Week 5: 99.8 kg (-0.3)
Week 6: 98.7 kg (-1.1)
Week 7: 98.1 kg (-0.6)
Week 8: 98.5 kg (+0.4)
Week 9: 97.6 kg (-0.9)
