ss09 Weekly Weigh in....

Hey everyone :D

So im going to record my weekly weigh in every Saturday.... although i do weigh myself everyday as i find it alot better to keep track but i will take my Saturday weigh in as my Actual weight.

So Last Sat i started i was 102kg..i really want to get down to 60kg but have to start with mini goals.... Hope to be losing 1kg or more... plan to lose 5kg a month...

sw: 17/01/09 - 102kg
Mini goal: 95kg

May I ask why you weigh every day? Experts recoment you weigh no more than once a week as your body fluctuates from one day to the next and even though I know that it is still very depressing to see the numbers go up- great when they go down but that does not always happen.

A realistic and healthy loss is between .5kg - 1kg a week. If you sets your sights any higher than that, you'll probably be disappointed.

Good luck.

I am with the others, it is better to weigh yourself once a week as opposed to daily. You could be setting yourself up for a lot of disappointment if you do it daily.

ok so i forgot to put my weigh in last sat... i lost 2.2kgs which is fantastic!! Another to weigh in Tomorro....

Now the reason i weigh in everyday is not because i want and hope to lose more weight each day its because i find i alot easier to keep myself motivated... Il weigh myself and if i find ive put on a a few grams i wont b disapointed as i dont take it as a actual weight i just take it as a daily rough weight and i dont set high standards for myself either each week i just take what i lose if i know ive tried my best that week and eaten what i should of and ive lost the littlest amout of weight id be happy with it... I just like to keep the record...it helps me think right ive put on these few grams thats fine il do a litle more ecerise today or if i lose weight its even better..... Another reason to why i weigh in everyday is to see if what im eating/ exercising is actually working and i find it fantastic!!!

I don want to be eating the wrong foods for my body and at the end of the week find ive just wasted a whole week in eating food thats not agreeing with me and making me put on weight.....

So basically thats my reason to why i weigh in each day!! Il be puttig my Actual weigh in tomorrow!

WOW 2.2kg is a fantastic effort for a week- i just hope your not pushing yourself too much, if you are then your at risk of burning out. But if thats a loss from doing everything right then congrats you deserve it :)

Well done on the loss superstar, I too am a daily weigher, I find it helps keep me motivated and I do like to know when/if I stuff up sooner rather than later.

Thanks heaps.. thats good to see other people are on the daily weight thing too.... i love it...

So My weigh in day for yesturday was a loss of 1kg.... Im happy with that :D :D

And mumnbub the loss from last week was just from eating right ad exersicing no fatty foods at all... so it just show i guess that i can do it if i stick to it right

So as of today i am 97.1kgs thats a loss this week of 1.6kgs and a total loss of 4.9kgs..very happy with my results and cant wait to get down to the 80's.
