Its to do with my height. Its sounds small but looks weird O.o if that makes any sence, hahaa. Besides, I just kinda need to lose a few so i can firm up and get more toned and alot less flabby. O.o

I must say I too was startled when I saw your starting and goal weights, but you're right - healthy weight depends on your build and height. Good luck with your weight loss journey, Carly! :D

Aw, thank you so much! Haha yes, i know what it feels like to be a pumpkin haaha :) Its so good to hear you're both making so much good progress. Todays my second day but i already feel better! I cant wait to start watching the weight fall off :D

Ah. Just saw your ticker. If your BMI is 19 then you're already at the lower end of your healthy BMI range so losing another 5kg isn't advisable. Of course this depends on how much muscle you have, not just height and weight, because muscle is denser than fat. It would be best to talk to a medical professional or personal trainer to find out if you really need to lose any weight. A body fat test will tell you if you're at a healthy point or if you need to lose any fat. In the meantime there's nothing wrong with toning up, but don't look at losing any more weight without medical advice.

yeah aliAli iI think imI'm going to have to say I agree with u! There is a huge difference between losing weight and toning up. You can tone up without having to lose weight darl. I hope u have spoken to a doc bout ur thoughts cz at 51kg...I think anyone wud be happy :) I'm sure ur a beautiful person ...and good luck with toning up. I can't wait to be something more like a cucumber (thin) instead of a pumpkin lol !!!

:) Im too young to go to a gym hehe, as other people have suggested. Besides, I run 4-5 times a week and do karate 3 times a week, so exercise has never been a problem with the extra weight. Oh and i think i stuffed up my ticker, because, my doctor took my measurements and weighed me and girls my age and height should be in the 40-55 kilos and maxes out at 60. So he said shedding a few with only improve my health and is not at all dangerous. I have also seen a specialist to make sure. :D
So dont worry, i probably entered the wrong height on my ticker. I just wanted it to show my goals anyways.

Can you edit the height in your ticker? Or maybe start a new one? It's good to know the numbers there are incorrect, but every time I see them I freak out ! :lol:

If you're using a Ticker Factory ticker it's easy to change the height, it's at the bottom of the page under your weight and measurements when you update your data. That way you'll have a more accurate idea of what you're aiming for, and it won't confuse new forum members who might otherwise think you're starving yourself. Trust me, people on this forum really care about one another and if they think you're doing anything that will harm your health they will be on your back CONSTANTLY. It'll be well-intentioned but probably very annoying after a while!

It's great you're doing so much exercise, and that you're seeing a specialist about your weight loss. Good on you for going about your weight loss in such a sensible and healthy manner!
