Yay back into 120's... just lol. Loss of 5.6kg, very happy with loss, I have been eating really well and exercising heaps and realise that next weeks loss won't be so big.

would be nice to get to 125 next week, fingers crossed!

Thanks guys, I'm pretty pleased with how things are going. I usually lose a lot of weight when I first start any diet, the numbers are getting smaller every week and I'm sure it will level itself out at a much lower rate which I guess is a good thing, as much as I want the weight gone as quick as possible its probably better to go for the smaller amounts over a long period of time approach. I've got a hell of a lot to lose yet and I want to do everything I can to avoid having loose sharpei dog style skin when the weights gone.

I've just been using the calorie king website to track my eating, I have been allocated 2000 calories a day, I try to eat close to that amount, I usually end up at about 1800 give or take. I've been watching my nutrition as they suggest trying to get the appropriate intakes of fats, protein and carbs well I lie, my fat intake is usually much lower. Some days I go over my carbs limit and dont eat enough protein or vice versa so if I find one day I overdid the carbs I'll have a low carb high protein day, I try to make it level out over 2 days I find it hard to get everything balanced perfectly in one day.

My exercise routine has been all over the place, I started off doing a min 1hr on the wii fit and some weights but I have been sick for the last week or so and did bugger all exercise. I started to get back into the exercising last night, decided to go for a run- how bloody stupid of me, coldest night thus far this year and I have a cold haha. I paid for it I got home and coughed up phlegm all night (tmi I know!) I'm going to put the running off until I am 100% better and will try to do it in the day when its a bit warmer.

I think what is making it work this time around is its a real family effort, no crap food in the fridge or pantry and we are all supporting each other. My hubby has lost 9kg, my 9 yr old slightly pudgy daughter has even lost a couple of kgs with no exercise at all due to her broken arm.

Hoping to lose 1 kg this week, would be nice to see the low 120's makes the >120kg goal seem so much closer :)

sounds great julz. we're totally in the same boat. same weight, same excercise, same timeframe to get sick of wiifit and same change in diet. only defference is the phlegm bit, but i can deal with that =) I lost 5.6kg in my week on wiifit, although i was eating about 500cals a day. but it seems like you, it was the kickstart that i needed. keep up with the running as best you can! i reckon it feels much more fulfilling and working up a real sweat is now actually a good feeling!

Not pulling such huge numbers now, I guess thats to be expected and I don't want it too come off to fast so I'm pretty damn happy with my progress.

Hoping to drop another 1kg next week, will put me in lowest I have weighed since just after having my son 3 1/2 yrs ago

loss of 1.1kg this week, 12.3kg loss in total

Very happy with loss this week, went better than I expected, we went out for dinner in the city last night so I thought maybe that it would hurt me on the scales this morning but it didn't yay :D

Next week will be interesting weigh in, just got my monthly curse for the first time in ages.
