Weightspender's weigh in

Postby weightspender » Sun Jul 26, 2009 2:50 am

Week 1 - Starting weight: 71kg
Week 2: 68.5kg

I started on Friday, 17th July and weighed myself today at 25th of july.
Looks like i lost 2.5kg! Is this good or bad? Unhealthy maybe?

The way i lost it is i changed what i ate drank and my exercise.

Normally i would eat junk food like mcdonalds or kfc or something maybe 3/4 times a week. I would drink soda drinks like cola ALWAYS. i would NEVER exercise.
From when i started on 17th of july i stopped drinking soft drinks altogether, strictly only drank water. I stopped eating all junk foods and started eating only healthy foods. I ran 5km per day and 3km if i was tired but i skipped running some days if i was too tired. (ran a total of 25km since 17th july).

My height is 5"7. My goal weight is 60kg and i am trying to get their before August 2010!

Thats great Weightspender, big losses are normal at first as it is just usually excess fluid you are losing, it does tend to slow down after a while but I truly believe it differs from person to person.
Myself, I have been pretty consistent throughout although I have had some very slow weeks but there have been weeks well into my loss that I have had big losses but it all evens out in the end.

Best of luck :) .

SW: 175.0 kgs.
CW: 62 kgs-Hit goal 12 September 2009.

Yep, big losses are to be expected at first. That's a great result to get from your first week. Keep up the good work!
