Weigh-in #2

Disappointing to have put on weight and not lost, but not going to let it get me down.

Before I jumped on the scales I asked myself:

Do I think I've lost weight? "No"

Do I look like I've lost weight? "Maybe a little, stomach is more toned."

This week is a knew challenge so that's as far as I'll dwell on the past.[/b]

Hi! 1 Kg lost this week... I don't really feel like I have lost that this week! I think my stomach is looking a bit better though.

That is a good loss that I'm very proud of, coz I worked hard for it. I was careful and planned what I ate for most of the week; it was only when the custard monster came to visit for a few days that I really went off the rails. I have five sessions of exercise, so I worked hard! The last couple of days I have been splurging on muffins with honey, wedges of camembert, and yesterday I grabbed a cadbury brunch bar. I was a little lacklustre with my plan as I have been sick... though I don't really feel up to working up a sweat today I am well enough to bother plannning my meals again.

Hopefully next weel will have some more great news :)

Good luck to you all!

Good Morning! Well, I made an executive decision this week to forgo my weekly weigh-in. I know, I know, it is cheating. But, well, I'm the boss.

This past week has been a disaster on the diet front. A combination of bieng sick at home, atrocious weather and well, that time of the month, had me pigging out for FIVE DAYS IN A ROW with little exercise.

I might mention that for most days, probably all, I did attempt to eat healthily, and usually fell off the wagon in the evenings.

I have not been doing my regular posts ( in the persona progress section) due to my being sick etc.

But I am SO back again. I have missed posting, and writing my thoughts.

I didn't want a weigh-in this week to be disappointed... so I am going to wait until next Friday, and give it my all this week.

So I am off to the Personal Progress section to begin my planning again.

I will see YOU next Friday.

-Alex.

disappointing!!!

Postby alex_bilson » Fri Oct 27, 2006 10:16 am

HI.

Well I am feeling a bit grose today as I weighed in and I am at 68.4! I have put on weight, I haven't been that in a long time!!!

Boohoo. The thing is I don't even feel it much really, so I was surprised. I guess it's one of those horrible situation where you think you look ok then u later see a photo of yourself and realise u were lookin a bit chubby DAMMIT!!!! I hate then.

Anyway... enough negativity.

Um I know what got me here, it's my parents being away so much. dON'T get me wrong I do know how to look after myself, but i havn't been making fantastic choices, ... my time management lately has been horrific too. I've been going to be at rediculous hours and therefore missing workouts etc.

So I know what I have to do and hopefully I can rocket down again soon.

Must be off-

Alex.

hi alex

dont forget to change that funky ticker to motivate you and keep you on track. i agree, sometimes you dont feel like you are bigger. i guess the best thing for you to do is not give up and to get back on the wagon. you know you can do it, you just need to amke the right choices and you will be fine!

keep it up :)

Hi Alex, get back on track mate you can do it.

It's interesting that you said you can't really feel that you've put on weight. That is so true I don't think any of really do which is why it is so easy to eat bad and not exercise and think you are still OK. The weight I had on I put on over a period of 15 yrs maybe more it just creeps on and creeps on until you're like....what, how did that happen?!

So, realising it now is definitely a good thing and not in 15 yrs time! Make good choices and exercise, you will start shedding before you know it! :D
