Ally's BAD news!

Postby Ally » Thu Aug 24, 2006 12:11 pm

Ok guys, had some bad news today, we went to the chemist where I started to weigh in last week and was told that they were removing them because they were weighing inaccurately. I tried this theory and stepped on them two times and the first one told me I had gained weight and the second time told me I had lost 300g. I bit the bullet and went and paid out $80.00 for WW scales that would weigh up to my weight and they are telling me that I am heavier anyway....so I am going to start again with accurate scales so here goes...

1st weigh in 165.3kgs

Ally that must have been very frustrating and upsetting. *hugs*

It's great that you've now got some really good scales.
When I saved up and finally invested in some good scales they also made me weigh a couple of kilo more.

thanks Kim and Dolly, yes I was very frustrated and upset as I know that I have stuck reasonably close to a sensible eating plan this week and to have that happen just made me feel horrible, but yes you are right, I can now start again from here.

Thanks for your support guys!!

Hi ally

sorry to hear about your setback. you were really looking forward to weighing in this week. at least now you have some awesome scales and then you can do it yourself at home instead of the chemist. keep your chin up, consider last week a 'practice' run or an 'introduction' to your new life. :)

we are all here for you :) keep your chin up, you will get there.

Ally's bad news

Postby Darklady » Tue Sep 05, 2006 5:38 pm

Never mind Ally its great you seem to have such a positive attitude I can see you winning this battle no trouble, you will like having your own scales, it makes it so much easier and a little more private than the chemist. All the best.

Thanks Darklady, yes I agree that having my own scales is more private/. The chemist scales were right out the front of the food court, quite offputting!! I am glad I have my own now!!
