last week: 122 kg
this week: 121 kg

loss: 1kg

(my home scales said I went from 121 - 120, but the scales at the doc's surgery said 121 this morning, so I guess I have to go with those.)

HI Leish, that is great news!!!

which scales did you weigh in on last week?? Always stick to the one set of scales for your weigh in other wise you will end up with a variety of results.

Congrats on the weight loss, you are going great!!

Hi everyone,

Sad news. After the scales ran out of battery power and a couple of really big weekends i am back at the start again. Ack, i have never been this big before it is so sad!! So renewing my will-power and declined the chocolate mud cake for a co-workers b'day.

So starting today (again) 110.5 kg

thanks for the well wishes, and congrats everyone else! I've lost 4.5 kg in the last 2 months, which is based mainly on not much exercise, but eating better - so I'm quite happy with that. I'm looking forward to participating in the September challenge here, so that I have something to strive for! And with the days getting warmer, I'm going to start getting off the train one station early and walking an extra 20 mins or so of an afternoon :)

yay team weight loss! you can do it!

same same same - blah!

I think I need to get some fancy scales that show results in 100g lots, because I need the motivation!

Anyone have recommendations for some good, accurate scales that aren't too expensive? They have to show weight to the nearest 100g, and I would prefer digital!

Thanks!

Why is it that everytime you eat healthy, temptation just leaps at you with it's jaws open wide???

Yesterday morning was the chocolate mud cake...refused and ate an orange (not half as tasty mind you!)
Then i get home and naturally...its chocolate drive time at my kids school and there is not just one chocky....no theres 48 of them!!!
Made my hubby eat the one he put aside for me and have put them in the work lunchroom...hopefully they will dissapear there...out of sight out of mind.....

We can do it....:)

Mandie, I bought a pair of digital scales from safeway/woolworths about a year ago . They are great going to the 0.1kg and are quite accurate the brand is "home collection" and they weigh up to 150kg/330lb. They also were very cheap at $24 .95, If my memory serves me right.

Perhaps you could check out your local safeway/woolworths to see if they still have any left.

hope this helps :D cheap and good 8)
