A Wednesday post suits me just fine, thanks Pam
Looks like another half kilo dropped from me, bringing it to 1 kilogram since we started your August challenge.
I wonder who's gonna win the title Weight loss Champion for August?

I weighed today too, but again on the fibber scales. They said 137kg. I have to wait till I get back to the gym to see a figure I'll believe. Not till next Wednesday though, after my stitches come out.

Weigh in

Postby chauntelle » Thu Aug 18, 2005 11:09 am

I'm currently 60kg. I've lost 1kg so far, in a week and half, so progress is fairly good.

I want to get down to 50kg.

People always tell me I don't need to lose weight etc, but I'm only 150cm tall and according to all those "BMI" calculators, I'm overweight.

What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks!!

teehee! clicking the submit button more than once (even if it's slow) will make the post repeat.
Clicking on the delete X on the top right side of your post will make the copies disappear. The delete X doesn't stay up for too long.
But then again there's nothing wrong with repeat posts :D

Hi Chauntelle, you're right some diet groups do over and some under estimate the weight a person should be for their height.

Here's a good aussie calculator for everyone to check their ideal weight for height http://www.mydr.com.au/tools/weight.asp
of course I'm going to be adding 4 to 9 kilo to my total as I don't think I can get there from here
Chauntelle, this calculator seems to agree with you that you can comfortably weigh anywhere between 45 to 56 kilo. I'd tend to go for the higher read-out because you need to have a few kilo up your sleeve incase you get ill one day which will make you lose more weight.

Down another 0.9kg this week... Thought it would have been more but its still a loss all the same :)

I think I am at about 3.1kg lost since the start of the month which I am pretty happy with....

Congrats to everyone with a loss on the scales this week - it feels good doesnt it!

Emma :D

Wow Emma, you might just be our Weight Loss Queen of the month (reigning until the end of the following month)
But this month isn't up yet everyone, keep chewing those carrot sticks.
