Finally! I've lost some weight and I can see it !! :)
Good thing is my back is good again, but unfortunately I have been pretty ill the last 24 hours.
At the beginning of the week I went to around 67.2kg then went down again.
My weight is now: 65.3 kg
Just hope it will settle there and hopefully go down more by next week.
I'm fitting into more clothes each day and finally into the teenie-tiny shorts my sister gave me and have never been able to wear. They somehow don't seem that small anymore which is good.

Goal for next week is 65 kg... wondering if I can loose at least 3 kg by sisters wedding which is mid December.

I've decided to shift things up a bit to cut down on carbs just a little bit and up my protein. Will be interesting to see if this makes any difference. My husband is back now which means the dustbin has returned! He can pretty much eat what he likes and not put on an ounce :lol:

This last week has been awful!!! I've been so ill but the only consolation is that I've lost a bit of weight.
I was almost 67.3 again and now dropped down to 65.3 kgs.
I weighed myself yesterday again and I went to 65.2 kg, so hopefully I won't go up now that I'm getting better.
I went to the guym today and took things very easy, so have to try and be good.

Tonight was a little piece of steak and then leek and potato soup... was awesome.

I'm hugely surprised... weighed myself on Fri and lost another 400 g, so now am 64.9 kg.
I really thought I would have put on. I've not been weighing food (I hate doing it!) but been ok at going to the gym.
Not feeling 100% still but worked out on Saturday. The evening was so bad - had dessert, wine and chocolate. Today I decided I'm still not well so will not exercise again until I am better. I will be happy if I loose another 400 g. Not sure I will after such a bad weekend, so will have to get back on track on Monday :wink:

Had my baby girl Leah on 13/12/10!

Weight at 40 weeks: 81.5kg
SW 4 days post-baby: 74.4kg
CW: 67kg

1st mini goal: 72kg - DONE!
2nd mini goal: 70kg - DONE!
3rd mini goal: 67kg - DONE!

4th mini goal: 64kg

Isnt suprising when that happens. I been there myself a whole week of being bad and the next thing a loss on that scale :shock: I seriously wonder how is that possible

I know, it's weird. Although because I've been sick pretty much for 3 weeks solid, I have not been going to the gym much. Perhaps once or twice a week if that. I'm feeling a little down today, actually a bit unhappy and sad ... I miss my family, my sister and my friends. But on the bright side I have a really cute little baby who makes me laugh and at least he makes me feel loved :) And my husband is back from travelling.

Didn't feel sick today so worked out for 45 minutes. Did usual cardio for 20 min then weights. I'm finally starting to see my stomach muscles again (ok... I've still got a way to go before I see ANY kind of definition).

My jeans are not feeling any looser, acually feel like I need to be careful as they may be a little too snug on me. So I am not sure whether I will weigh myself this week or not!!

On a positive note, I bought some ski pants yesterday (ski season will be starting soon!) and I bought the small as it fitted me much better than the medium. I was shocked. I seem to always go for large or medium. I still feel uncomfortable as I am now so I will have to try really hard these next few weeks until I leave for my holiday and my sis' wedding. Really hope I can get down at least 2 kg by then

I am better now! Been back to the gym twice this week. Think my weight has stayed the same, but would be great to go down to 64 :o . Will weigh in on Saturday for sure. Only 4 1/2 weeks until sisters wedding - ouch!
I needed to shake things up a bit this week, so this is what's been happening:
Note: I'm tring to eat moderately, then drop my intake for a day or two, then increase it much more on the days I work out.

Sat: had a good 1 h 20 min workout and had two yoghurts when I got back too. Dinner was Pasta I think.
Sunday: small bowl of oats for b/fast and an egg. Lunch: had a chevre chaud salad (goats cheese salad with honey on 4 mini pieces of bread), then can't remember what I had for dinner but I'm sure it had protein in it. Did about 20 mins on my elliptical trainer. 1 hour French

Monday: Went to work but no gym workout. Very strict day!! Small bowl of cereal (with milk), 2 yoghurts, 2 cups green tea. Dinner: 1 piece of bread and butter, slice of ham and and 1 yoghurt. Glass of milk. 1.5 hrs French.

Tuesday: small bowl cereal (with milk), banana, 2 coffee (only drink it at work!!), 1 yoghurt, pear, tuna sandwhich with light mayo, 2 grapes :) 1 piece of dark choc. Dinner: chicken & veggie stirfry with egg noodles. Worked out for 45 minutes. 0 French.

Wednesday: Eat about the same as today but might have two sandwhiches. I'll try and workout for 30 mins on my elliptical trainer, do leg and tummy excercises (have baby at home so will do it during nap time).
I MUST get some new inspiring healthy dinner ideas!! Anyone got any for me?

O, sounds like you have gotten straight back into things since being sick, good on u :D I'm glad you're feeling better.

Doesn't time fly! I can't believe it is only 4 1/2 weeks until your sisters wedding! You must be getting pretty excited. Sorry I have nothing to offer u when it comes to dinner ideas......I'm not the best in the kitchen :lol: I go for easy things usually. I had an omelette tonight, I think they are reasonably healthy. I also love to make my own pizza,there are lots of yummy/healthy things to use as toppings.

Tks Star, I'm back at it again! I for almost 2 weeks I have lost ZERO weight , I'm OK with that tho as I know I could have been to the gym more and not eaten the mini-magnums 8)
SO I'm still 64.9 kgs. Would be so good if I lost 2 kg in the next 3 weeks. Will really have to push myself - and no more magnums even if they are small!

Mm, dinners are still a pain for me. I made salmon fish cakes and they were great, lots of protein and veg.

I've been measuring out my b/fast: Pronutro (450 KJ) & with milk
Banana, Sandwhich with tuna and mayo, 2 small yoghurts
Cappucino (no sugar)
Camomile tea
2 1/5 L water
2 big fishcakes (healthy ones!), 5 crackers with butter (500 kj), broccoli, butternut
Milk

Gym on the Thurs, Friday & Monday: I'm now crunching about 35 kg weights on my stomach which I'm really happy with.
I am using about 25 - 30 kg weights on my legs.
Tomorrow: weights on arms, legs, tummy and 25 min cardio
Wednesday: 30 min cardio, mat work (at home), side planks
Thursday: 25 min cardio, weights arms, stomach
Friday: 25 min cardio, legs, stomach, side planks
Saturday: 40 min cardio, cross-training
Sunday - nothing

Thanks Chengbee, I will try!! Good to have someone else's opinion too.

I have been to gym every day this week, but Wed I worked out for 40 min at home. Still feel no thinner, but pushing 40-45 kg weights on my stomach so it's feeling firm, just wish the layer on top of that would go. Still have to work at it!!
Three weeks to go until the wedding :?
Today was good - had about 3000 kj by the afternoon (by the time I'd finished gym), had a seafood salad and 1 slice of bread and butter for dinner (went out with work guys). So not too bad. Have no idea how many Kj in the salad tho.
Couldn't sleep now so I had a thin tea buiscuit and horlicks light. I'm sure I must be up to 5000 kj by now.

I am hoping that by increasing cardio so that I do some every day will help. Also trying to keep up the weight training so that my metabolism increases. Don't know what else to try!!??!!

I'm back again after a good break and my sister's wedding was so stunning.
Good news is that I lost a little weight before the wedding and a bit more over Christmas.

I'm FITTING INTO MY SIZE 6 TROUSERS!!!
Just reached 64.1 kg so lost around 800 g.
I know it's not huge, but for me it's a real achievement as I am loosing SO slowly.
My next goal is to get down to 63, then 62 and hopefully back to 59 kg.

I'm just so excited now. Hit the gym for the first time in a month and really sore all over.

It's been ages (Jan) since my last official weigh in, and done ok.
Last weigh-in in January was 64.1 kg
I am now around 61.6 kg, but this week I've fluctuated around 62.5 due to water. So let's see how next week goes

I've been to an instructor who's weighed me on her scale which is slightly more than what mine measures... here are the results:

17/03: 28.9 44.1
24/03: 28.8 43.9
31/03: 27.4 44.2
28/04: 27.2 42.7
19/05: 27.2 42.9
26/05: 28.1 43.1 (water retention so fat ratio out)
Approx weight 61.6 - 62 kg
