Not to worry Daisyb just stick to what you doing, you have done so well already and its good that you kinda expected it due to TTOM just ignore the number on that scale.

Good luck for next week

Mid-week check in and I'm back down to 95.3kg. In just three days fluid retention caused a difference of 1.6kg. Hormones suck! I haven't lost anything since the week before last because I only went out walking once last week because I was lazy. I'm back into it this week though. I'm aiming for 92kg by the new year. We shall see....... :P

92kg by new year sounds achievable enough for you DB at the rate you are going you might just be @ 90kg by the end of this year :) Im happy for you.

Sunday means time for my weekly weigh in. I'm down to 94.6kg which I'm very happy with. I can only assume that my mid week weigh in of 95.3kg was due to food in my belly or residual hormones? I'm very glad I got back into the rythym of things this week after barely doing any walking at all last week. I think it's the fact that no matter what, whether I excercise or not, I'm managing not to go overboard with my calories and this is keeping the weight coming off slowly and steadily. Today also marks the end of week 9, and tomorrow I start week 10. I'm just 600grams under target probably due to last weeks inactivity. I've done targets up until July 2010 and it averages a loss of a kilo a week. So technically if I had gotten my bum moving last week I would have hit the 9 kilo loss mark. But that's fine, I'm more than happy with how I've gone so far and am very proud of myself.

Another milestone is that I have had a certain pair of 'regular size 18' tracksuit pants for about 12 months that were far too small and so tight they were like leggings and the waist would only come half way up my bum because they were too small. I actually put them on yesterday and they fit me! They're even a little loose around the legs. I was stoked! :) :P

On another note I just raided my 'aspirational wardrobe'. That's the second wardrobe I have in my spare room at the back of the house that contains clothing ranging in sizes 10 to 18 that I have not been able to fit into for eons. I found a pair of regular size 18 (you gotta love how there's a 'regular' size 18 and a 'large' size 18 out there...) Jeans West stretch jeans. Nine weeks ago if I had tried to get these jeans on I would have ruptured an intestine. I have them on now and while they are a bit too snug to wear out in public, they are very comfortable. It's Sunday morning and I have Video Hits on the tele and have been doing a gleeful little happy dance in the loungeroom in my jeans - the first pair I have been able to get into in about two years. :D Another four kilos and I think I will dare to wear them outside. :P

I refuse to weigh myself tomorrow even though I've walked 23 kilometers this week through scheduled excecise. There's also day to day walking that I could add onto that 23kms but I didn't measure it. I have also kept my calories in check. But I just feel heavy and bloated. I'm happy for the scales to keep gathering dust until next weekend.

Hey DB, just wanted to check in and say you are doing an amazing job. The amount of exercise you have been doing is very inspirational. Keep up the great work and I look forward to hearing your progress after your next weigh in.

Hi guys and thanks for all of the wonderful support. Well, I got over my pathetic sookin' and decided to jump on the scales albeit three days late and I've actually dropped another 800g. I'm now 93.8kg. I was surprised because I just feel really heavy for some reason. I feel like I've gained weight. But I knew this couldn't be right because on Sunday night I had to take the waist in on my work pants. I could slip them off and on without unbuttoning/unzipping and I was getting tired of walking around hitching my pants up all the time. People were looking at me funny.

So I'm only 800g away from my first 10kg milestone. I'd do a happy dance but it's swelteringly hot right now and I feel too apathetic. oh yay......
