It certainly is! I love reading up on everyone's progress. I am still so suprised that I am losing weight! I am just trying to put certain plans in place to keep me going. I think by taking photos of myself and looking at how I am doing and talking to people on here is going to help a lot. I am a drug and alcohol youth worker and I also need to set an example, especially when I am encouraging my clients on eating healthy!

Hey Guys! I started introducing more excercise this week as I am now finding I can do a lot more, not getting back pain as quickly anymore. I just weighed myself, and It really showed!!!
SW: 170.7
CW: 162.5
Weight loss to date: 8.2 KG
Weight loss this week: 2.8 KG

Is this weight loss normal for someone my size? I've never been able to lose any weight before and now it's just peeling off. Is 8.2 KG too much to lose in 4 weeks? I'm getting enough nutrition, sometimes I think too much food. I smashed my goal to lose 6kg by christmas..lol!!

Thanks everyone for the support, this is really helping me, by now I would have given up!!

Thankyou, yeah I am enjoying it!! I just got home from walking around all day, got another day of shopping tomorrow...it helps with the weight loss I think all this walking..Feet are quite sore now though!! I have been looking for a thing to pull my tummy in so I can wear a dress on my birthday but i'm having no luck with finding a size. Does anyone know of where to get one. I am probably about a size 26 atm.

Hi Cat!

Congratulations on your weight loss so far, you're doing SO well. I wouldn't worry that you're losing weight too fast, it's quite common when you first start to lose. Over time, your losses will probably become less dramatic, but make sure you keep persevering!

I found a website you might be interested in:

http://www.mysize.com.au/categories.asp ... ep=Dresses

They go up to a size 26 and you might be interested in some of their dresses? I'm not exactly sure what kind of dress you're after, some of these might be a little casual, I'm not sure. You could also maybe try somewhere like Myer or Autograph? Good luck with your search :)

Thankyou for that info. I have 3 going out dresses, two of which fit me but the my favourite which cost me about $200 on special has never really fitted properly. I am aiming to lose another 13ish kilos by the 30th january (my birthday)... just need to find one of those underwear type things that pull your tummy in.

I put on 3KGs this week due to my little monthly friend, usually I will put on up to 5KGs...
Not worried about it at all but does anyone else experience this?
