Scott's weigh in

Postby Scott » Thu May 19, 2005 9:31 am

At Christmas this year I was a little over 94kgs.

I've just weighed myself this morning and came in at 86.8kgs.

Thats 7.2kgs lost in around 4 and a half months.

My goal is to get down to somewhere around 80kgs by the end of this year and then stay at that weight.

So far, so good! :D

Today's weight - 87.7kgs

Postby Scott » Thu May 26, 2005 7:10 pm

Weighed myself this morning and came in about 1 kilo heavier than last week.

Haven't exercised for 3 days because I'm coming down with a cold.

Been a little naughty on the food side too, so am unlikely to be lighter next week either!

Today's weight = 86.3kgs which is the closest I've been to my goal of 80kgs.

Haven't exercised for two weeks due to a cold so I thought I'd put on a bit.

Started having vegetable soup for lunch and eating fruit at work, this must be helping.

Am conscious of how much salt can be in canned soups and want to find a reduced salt/sodium variety that I like.

Hope to start exercising again on Monday! :D

June 9, 2005 weigh in

Weighed in at 87.4kgs this morning (goal 80kgs), slightly more than this time last week.

Have just resumed exercising again after 2 weeks off with the flu.

Happy not to have gained more during this lay off. Will probably be another week until I'm back to 100% and can start including slow jogs in my exercise routine.

Am starting to eat fruit throughout the day - got a big weekend coming up when I could go off the rails a bit food wise!

Gotta keep pluggin away! :) Until next week...

PS - Good idea for making my own soup Pam, I'll give it a try.

Weighed in at 88.3kgs today, up about a kilo on last week.

Am not too worried about this, the weight training I've been doing is starting to reshape my body a bit and I'm probably putting on a little muscle and losing a bit of fat.

Will up the aerobic exercise a bit and see if that can get me thru the plateau I'm in at the moment.

the weight training would do it :) muscle weighs more than fat :) The thing i found was a motivator when the scales were flittering up and down would be measurements and photo's :)

In 2002 When i started for the first time around I took a photo of myself front and side views one month later I took another set of photo's and the changes were pleasant it kept me motivated, I was loosing inches each week even when the scales were saying I gained a little weight or when it stayed the same as the week even month before :)

It was a very good motivating key in my weight loss.. Even now i look at the photo's of my progress back then and it makes me determined to continue now knowing i will get there once again :)

Keep up the good work with your exercise and determination :)
