I hope it's going to make me more accountable too!! I will check in with you each week if you want to check in with me?
My start weight was 79.3kg and I have lost 1.7 kg in my first week (ok really my second, but my first week was a write off!).
Good luck with this week :)

Yes me too! Even if I have a bad week I'm still going to report in. What plan are you following for your weight loss? I am doing Lite N Easy. I have done weight watchers in the past but atm I am not up to actually having to buy/cook food and follow points etc. I need my food all there for me so it takes any decision making away lol. I guess I need to do some exercise too....I find it soooo hard to get motivated to do that in winter. I am *not* joing a gym as I have tried that in the past and it is so not for me. I do best going running on my own, I just have to get myself into gear to start *sigh*

I won't be following a plan this time I want to change my habits for good. Iv tried the shake diets etc and think the only way for me is to just change. I hate exercising I'm thinking about renting a treadmil so I can at least watch tv while I walk lol. I agree with the no gym thing I don't like exercising in front of people at all.

Hi Sara!!
Welcome to the forum & well done on your loss - you and I look like we have similar goals. I started at around 104 and my goal is to get to 65. I have found it tough so far but I have stuck to it this time, thanks to challenging my mindset after each stuff up (I have had heaps!) and THIS FORUM. So, I can highly recommend coming on weekly (at least) to record your losses (or gains 8) ) as it is very encouraging and motivating and if you are struggling you are NOT alone.
Calorieking.com is worth a look at too. I eat normal food, no dieting but I keep track on CK and it helps me learn life lessons about food.
And exercise.... Just do it! I swim and do water aerobics and wii. I hate the gym I discovered, its just not my thing. No one looks at your body underwater and I feel leaner and stronger there.

Keep up your good work and see you around!!

Iv been using calorie king to im finding myself putting my food in before I eat to make sure I dont go over my targets, its been really helpful. Im starting to feel a bit more lively after a week of eatting good food/lots of water. Iv also started enjoying cooking at home more. health food can be really tasty.

I'm unsure of my weigh in this week as my scales say iv gained 4 kgs I did snap once during the week but I doubt it's 4 kgs I put a kilo weight on the scale and it said it was 5 kgs so I think my scales are busted! I'm having no luck with scales at all lol! So I'll buy new ones and then do my weigh in :)

Hey there ladies, was wondering if i could join your weigh in's and "check up's"...
I am in desperate need of motivation and support and i can't really get alot of it at home..
BTW Sara, i wouldn't worry too much about the scales..
Although you might think it's high, it could be due to a range of things..
Fluid retention, weighing in at different times of the day etc..
I am currently seeing personal trainer and i love it! It's my favourite day at the gym!
She ALWAYS takes my measurements rather than the weight on the scales due to all the different variable and they are more consistant results and apparently a much more true result!
Good luck ladies!

Hey Sara
Dont be sad about the new scales readings. The important thing now is that you have started this journey and you have stepped your foot on the right direction which is the good thing from now on track your losses on that scale.

Keep up the good losses!!!
