It appears I am going to have a good loss then a bad one then a good one, I dont believe I have been bad at all this week - my eating habits couldnt be more different from before I started this, and this week I kicked in the excercise so its with extreme frustration that this week I am down to 100.4kg. A loss of 300gm.
Unfortunately I have hit a point of saying why bother, I know after 6kg loss that seems silly but the inconsistency is frustrating me, I dont know when I am doing the right thing and when im not. They have nicnamed me rabbit at work because of what I am eating at the moment so its pretty obvious how much my habits have changed. Im sticking with it and will continue to ramp up the excercise this week but am just ugh right now.

Becky keep it up! Although you do have bad weeks just look at the big picture and you can be proud to say that you have already lost 6kgs! It is a slow journey but you must be patient and keep at it. You can do this! Also maybe just have a bit of a reflection on how you are feeling day to day. I know when I have a small lose I try and remain positive by thinking at least my body feels good. I mean it sounds like you're doing everything right so your body must be feeling heaps better...more energy, no crap food in the system...that's got to be a good feeling :D

Thanks Starz, im sure you have similar moments so understand completely :-)

I go up and down about how I feel about it all, doesnt stop me sticking to my healthy eating and excercise but life is just so frustrating at the moment that I often wonder why I bother.... must get over that or I will never be able to maintain once I reach my goal (its happened before...)

A reasonably loss this week, hopefully this is the start of my slow and steady consistent weight loss :-)

Down this week to 99.6kg (BROKE THE 100kg BARRIER!!!) with a loss of 800gm.

More gym work this week, plodding along with the eating ok. Have a weekend away next weekend so quite worried about that one, I have almost mastered the right choices by planning and purchasing each meal of the week, however I dont have the skills yet to deal with time away with friends (drinking and food choices!!) and that will be this weeks challenge!!!!!!

Another minimal loss this week, my struggle this week has been that as I have upped the fitness to an hour basically every 1-2 days I am now much much hungrier than I was and am trying to eat the same (21 day Dr Phil plan) as I was before I ramped it up which is resulting in almost constant hunger. If I do eat more they are healthy choices, but I think I might have to start resorting to counting calories to see what is going on, something I really want to try and avoid doing - I want to be able to make healthy choices without having to do regular sums in my head but we will see.

Weigh in a day early as I am off for a (weight-loss jeopardising) weekend with friends, I have a few plans in my head to try and make good choices but it really is a skill I havnt learnt yet and after a few mistakes I usually just go stuff it and give up.... but I cant continue to do that forever.

Weigh in today at 99.1kg, a loss of 0.5kg.

Good work Becky! Great effort with getting that much exercise in too! No wonder it is all dropping off!

How did you go with your weekend away? Were you able to behave??

Keep up the great work!

Thanks starz, wantto for your responses :-)

The weekend was ok, I wouldnt call it a complete failure but I wouldnt call it success either. Compared to my current lifestyle/routine it was pretty bad, however compared to what I would normally do on a weekend like that I was very good :-) Alcohol is my enemy and with a big party saturday that kind of threw me off, however I have noticed I eat a lot less than I used to so if I do stuff up the quantity is not so bad, I would give myself 5/10 - lots of room for improvement but I wasnt completely horrid!!!

This week weigh in is a good one, however I am again on a detox weekend so it could in part be just water. After the weekend away (despite pre-planning my meals the week before) I found it really hard to get straight back into the swing of things and was absolutely exhausted (drove 300km monday morning to get to work) so the excercise wasnt as good as it should have, so really I probably dont deserve this loss and will probably gain it back this week. Todays weight was 98kg, a loss of 1.1kg :-)

Everything is about to go into turmoil again however, on thursday night I head back to adelaide for 6 sleeps to see family and catch up with old friends. This will be another hard one, and this time it is almost for a week - when in adelaide I dont have a house so I normally go out for lunch and dinner every day catching up with different people - which will make it very hard. My temporary housemate no longer stays at my place (woo hoo!!) so I will be at the gym every night this week in preparation and I have made plans to be more active when in adelaide, and even looked at each day and my eating options so hopefully it wont throw me off the wagon too much. Weigh in will be in another fortnight so hopefully with lots of gym and good eating before and the same after I will be able to continue on this track!!! Excited also because I havnt seen my folks since I changed my lifestyle so hopefully they will notice!!!

Have an awesome week everyone :-D

Well this was going to be a "To weigh in or not to weigh in" post due to events over the last couple weeks but I did weigh in, and got a (smaller than expected) gain of 600gm. Obviously any gain is BAD but I had the most amazing week ever with my family and friends while away so I am still happy from that. It was insanely hectic which resulted in some bad food choices, and when I am busy and eating out/at the show/birthday and engagement celebrations I just dont have the skills (yet??) or planning time (which I have found is my key)to make the right choices. (If anyone has any hints please help me on this one!!!!) I spent every spare minute I had on my parents Wii Fit but it just didnt get my heart rate up like the gym/weights does. Also once I got back mid-week some of the food I had for the meals I planned before I left had gone off and I was buzzing from the time away and very much lacking motivation. Plus my folks never noticed my 8kg loss (I havnt seen them since before I started) and that was a real kick in the guts that made me wonder why I bothered. Im back on the bandwagon now but still lacking some of my original motivation. Gym/Traning sessions every day this week should get that back.... hopefully!!! :?

Its been a while since I have updated on here, things have been insanley busy with weekends away, friends visiting and lots of weekend work happening. My last weigh in due to all of this was a couple of weekends ago, and I weight in at 97.8kg, which was a loss of 800gm from the weigh in before that. Food wise things have been rough with all the visitors and travel, but excercise I have been doing well, we have some AWESOME PT sessions paid for by work at the moment and despite being the only girl in the class I am absolutely loving it!!! From now on I have the next 7 weeks home so am looking forward to knuckling down and passing the 10kg mark!!! :-D

Hope all are doing well and having lots of great losses!!! :D
