Thanks e&me! You are right - it won't be long. It might take 18 months, but every kilo makes it so much closer, and having mini-goals leading up to the big one gives one the sense of achievement one needs to stay motivated.
It reminds me of my jogging days - there was one enormous hill on the route, climbing about 120 feet, week after week I tried jogging up that hill, but ended up having to walk up. Then one day I jogged all the way up, and realized that my mistake had been that I was looking up the hill. When I kept my eyes down I was able to just keep going, and, before I knew it, I was at the top. It was one of those 'Ha Ha moments.'
